I have been wanting to run a robot theme team since I bought the invincibles pack and pulled Danger in the same week. I was thinking to the 300 point restricted to play:

Danger 124
Robot 92

Total 216

This leaves me 84 points to play with and I get to play with other robots. Option 1, I have explored is the rookie OMAC the rookie gives me 25 points left for feats. Option 2, Mercury with pounce is 40 points I could run two of them and with the new point system I won't have to worry about losing points pushing them off the board, and just hope they get their licks in before they KO. Option 3, the final strat in consideration is to run one mercury with pounce and the congo bill pog sith the disruptor shield. Have Congorilla carry the object into close combat with the bruisers and the change to congo bill, drop the object and hit someone with willpower in turn setting mercury up for a 10 AV 3 Dam pounce straight through my opponents defence.

Please post your thought or more options for me to strat from

Well your options are nice... however Pounce is retired so it's a no go for restricted.

Robots have tons of nice options. Ahab is one of them, R/E Red Tornado and Mercury could be one as well, Deathlok, Raza, R Vision are all viable as well.

Mercury at 25 points and Gold at 60 points are really, really good additions to the robot keyword - might wanna look into them.

Mmm... I didn't know they had reprinted Pounce in Origins. I thought it was only a MM card.

I'd say go with Ahab. Gives you the excuse to talk like a pirate.

And for the record, who's be this 92 point 'Robot' ye speak of? Yarrr

probably robot, from the invincible set. double based transporter! i really wish i had that set...

and i second ahab, plus feats. see through figures and stealth is niiiiice

289 points. Throw on your favorite cardboard and your set.

I haven't played Danger yet so I am sorry I didn't build a team around her.

You forgot the most important robot..Advanced Sentinel. I am hoping to run a Sentinel with Lead and Tin and 2 mercurys for my Floor Team :)
