the Fatal Five... +1

So I'm putting all this effort into trying to make Fun teams for that 500 game tommorow... Spend 3 days building a skrull team, still havent finished animals, evil Mystics, or Wrath of god teams...

BUT, I take a time out to look through my box, and within 10 minutes come up with a Fatal Five team... with 6 figures.

CD# 66) Dr. Light: 84pts
L #44) Jynx: 44pts
CR #6) Shimmer: 49pts
CR #20) Dr. Sivana: 111pts
CR #31) Mammoth: 118pts
CR #33) Psimon: 94pts

The superman rouge TA should come in handy, handing a possible 3 extra outwits (4 in a suicidal formation).

At first I'd used a red Jynx, and with no Sivana it put the total at 399. BUT rather than slap down 101 points of cards and get endlessly razzed for it on gameday, I switched her out for rookie. Dunno what all cards I'd put down, aside from Trickshot.

Not sure what BFC to slap on... if it where only the 5 I'd just put down Disbanded and call it a night. I could use Bright Lights for any stealthers (considering the people I'm sure will have batman teams) or Assembled to give the 5 an extra boost (assuming it works that way).

huh... i dont think that the vet Dr Light has the fearsome five keyword ( http://www.hcrealms.com/units.php?page=dial&id=cd066 ). perhaps the LE Arthur Light, and the Vet Jynx returns? that gives you 11 points, and a theme. Armor piercing on Psimon, to help take advantage of that first click with TK without having to push tp PB.

and for bfc's, id suggest Assembled to take advantage of the 5 calculators,
hmm,,,Inertial Dampening Field to slow down and weaken RS/CH/HSS, then ordinary day to make sure youre covered!

Thankfully I have Doc Arthur. Given the choice between Rookie and LE, I'll have to go with the LE.

So switch out Rookie Jynx for Vet, and that leaves me at 489. Like you said I have 11 left, but I think I'll stick the AP on Arthur to assist his double-shot. Or I could just get a few that could equal 8.

I'm allways leary about the Integrity feild card, I only have one with charge, and he'd have to have a heavy object to do any damage if I used it.

So... I dunno.

with your TK that shouldnt be a concern, actually. the main thing you have to watch out for, and this is a shocker- the villains always seem underpowered in comparison to the heroes. and face it, with as many kid flashes and mary marvels, and black adams, this hurts them a loooooot more than it will hurt you. unless someones playing trigon or darkseid, youre set with the inertial damp, because you could just fling and smack. theyll all have to do less damage ( and its less knock back, giving you a better chance of staying based so you keep your outwit from the TA!)

arthurs double target + AP is nice, but when you can just pulse wave, why worry? Psimon is more points, has a glass jaw, and less clicks if i remember correctly. plus a longer range.

so thats where you strategy vs each opponent comes into play, do you use psimon for damage or just TK to open? if youre faced with a high mobility team, chuck out the intertial, and if they dont Theme it away, TK for all your worth- just make sure Jinx is in position first. of course, with her phasing, you could put her into position dangerously close at 2 squares away, TK mammoth up and outwit the target with him ( provided you can see the target cause of stealth, etc), then smack with a heavy for full. shimmer being in LOF would help even more for the bonus. even better if shimmer is the one you move, keeping jinx safer.

with your assembled bonus in another round, id do the suicidal cluster- take full advantage of your outwits and better attack values. just dont hesitate to break formation if youre in too much danger.

plus, with Sivana having support, you dont need to worry too much about pushing right away, either. hope this helps explain why i suggested the cards,,, whatever you decide on, i hope this works well for you, i rarely field villains because they never seem to do as good as any of the heroes ( except for that new darkseid,,, oh, woot...)
