Greetings! I'm opening this here Census up to to all the fronteirsmen and pioneers who helped settle the west, and I reckon I'm even allowing the Square heads, Celestials, Dirt Worshipers and Hoopel Heads to partake in our little ballad (we need more targets after all).

There are two phases in mafia one where the thread is closed and one where the thread is open. During the phase where it's open you can chat as much as you want. Your only allowed to PM the mod unless your role specifically says otherwise. Many abilities in mafia require the use of Pming with the mod back and forth too. You should usually check on each game your in atleast once a day during the day phase(the phase where it's open) if you can. The more you post and the more active you are the more fun it is. Finally yes it is all run in one thread unless the mod states otherwise but you'll know if something like that happens.

Most mods are happy to answer questions and the basic rules are written at the beginning of any mafia game thread. I think that covers what you wanted.

FYI everyone - I'm going on some upheavel in RL (which is also why I haven't been posting many articles lately). Nothing too serious (no medical problems, no divorce), but I am finally moving out of my scummy apartment and away from my slumlord into an apartment where the floor doesn't have gaping holes in it, the roof doesn't leak & isn't falling down, and the wiring isn't randomly causing fires. This game will be delayed until after the move, which will happen some time next month.

I'd guess the earliest Deadwood pioneers will hit the Dakota trail is early July. Sorry about the delay.
