House Rules:
1. Uniqueness: No more than one of any given named figure/bystander may be used. This applies to LEs and their non-LE counterparts, as well as all REVs, regardless of whether or not they have the same “name” on the base. This rule applies on a set-by-set basis (e.g. you can use only one Spider-Man from Infinity Challenge, but you could also use one Spider-Man from Critical Mass). The table below details all “generic” figures/bystanders that are not subject to this rule.
2. You may bring three (3) Battlefield Conditions – one per round (a “blank” is not required).
3. Purple-ring figures not expressly marked “Promo” (either with the word or green square) are legal.
4. In restricted events, you may use retired versions of BFCs and Feats that have been reprinted in a non-retired set, however, all current wording / rulings are used and a max of one (1) copy of any retired card is allowed.
5. Marvel Xplosion Archenemies – Kirigi LE (#202) and Elektra LE (#203) are archenemies of each other, but neither is an archenemy of the Hand Ninja REVs (#004-009).
6. Soaring and Standard-sized non-soaring figures do not affect each other’s movement, aside from the fact that you cannot end a figure’s movement in the same square as another figure.
7. Giant characters are adjacent to Standard-sized characters only one (1) square away (not two) for movement purposes.
8. Anyone playing against any figure that occupies more than four squares automatically receives their full normal complement of Actions – i.e. they are not subject to any limitations in the number of Actions received as might otherwise be specified in any individual tournament description.
Tournament Rules:
• 500-point, 3-action, Unrestricted (retired items ARE allowed).
• No BFCs, Feats, or Special Objects. Use only the larger, square maps.
• Max of one figure from any set (by expansion symbol), and no figures that occupy more than two (2) squares.
• Two standard objects (one light and one heavy) per player.
• Sole survivor wins a game, otherwise winner determined by KO point totals.
