View Full Version : The "BEST" 600pt Brotherhood of Mutants Themed Team?

Hello all,
I am trying to come up with at vicious Brotherhood team for unrestricted.
I want to go more offense with the new rules for time...
Here is what I am working with. Let me know what you all think and what you would do.
Magneto Ultimates 144pt. with Contingency Plan +12 pt. = 156 pts.
Polaris LE 78 pt. with Nova Blast +10 pt. and ICWO +10 pt. = 98 pts.
Sabretooth Vet Ult 76 pt. with Auto Regen +12 pt. and ICWO +10 pt. = 98 pts.
Ahab 68 pt. with ICWO +10 pt. = 78 pts.
Spiral 56 pt. with ICWO +10 pt. = 66 pts.
Destiny Rookie 20 pts.
Scarlet Witch Rookie 29 pts.
Black Tom 55 pt. with Thwart +15 pt. = 70 pts.
I had other feats... can't remember them now.
Spiral has the keyword... ;)

Just let me know what you would do differently...
I want a very offensive destructive team.

Too much cardbord (and the total comes up to 615 if I added up properly).

I would try to make room for Esme in there. Maybe at the expense of Scarlet Witch and a little less feats. I would look into changing that Sabretooth too to free up some points. That universe starter is realy good for 40 pts or if you want to Keep Charge/Blades combo the Ult E or Universe V will do about the same for less points. With all the ICWO, CP and Destiny's PC you shoudn't miss much anyway. Vandetta could be good on Sabertooth as well.

OH... sorry... Yeah, I took off Thwart for those 15 pts, and forgot..

I want to keep it all Brotherhood... and Vandetta >?< not sure who that is.. is it Brotherhood?

Vendetta is a 6 point feat and it's very brotherhood :)

VENDETTA (6 points)
PREREQUISITE: Character must have a colored archenemy base
Choose a character.
Before the beginning of the first turn, if the character’s archenemy is not an opposing figure, choose a target opposing figure with point
value greater than the character’s point value. The target is the character’s archenemy and the character is the target’s archenemy. The
character gets +1 to its attack value when making a close or ranged combat attack against the target.

Basicaly it gives an arch enemy to someone who has a AE base and gives him an attack boost to attack him as well. It gives all the AE advantages including doubling victory points if you Ko you nemessis. Sabertooth can normaly do so if aided a bit.


Can't remember what set it is from though... Sinister?

Is it the "best" possible attack team for Brotherhood?

Well, if you don't mind doing a Brotherhood withough Magneto,

U Zorn 94
LE Polaris 78
+ Nova Blast 10
V Sabertooth (IC) 69
+ Auto Regen 12
+ Vendetta 6
U Spiral 56
R Destiny 20
Black Tom 55
Esme 50
Ahab 68 (Or Dark Beast 69)
E Mystique (Xp) 43
E Havok 38
Total 599 or 600

That team has a lot off offense power. 2 perplexe so people will hit, PC, Outwit (2 with Dark Best), Psyblasts, 2 B/F/C, TK, Support etc...

I would start with:

Rookie Magneto w/ Inspiring Command
Vet Pyro w/ Trick Shot
Vet Avalanche w/ Construct

Pyro is getting 2 attacks every three turns, and Avalance is providing cover.

Now augment with:

Quicksilver + Armor Piercing (to captilize on Inspiring Command)
Scarlet Witch for rerolls
Pick a Sabretooth (IC Exp is best for the points)
Exp Havok (for flight, high natural damage)
Black Tom (crucial Outwit)
