After Smash Bros (and probably not until the end of April, realistically), I am going to be start sign ups for All Star Mafia #2.
Here is the plan for this time around. Last time, I used all the games up until Civil War, so the roles included in this one will be the games that came after that. I am planning on running a 40 person game, using roles from 30 mafia games (which means that some games will contribute more then one role)

If you were the mod of any one of those games, start thinking about what roles you want to submit. (But don't send them just yet)
Also, as with last time, I will be looking for a co-mod to help be balance the roles (as it is a lot harder to do in an All Stars game then in normal). If you are interested in being co-mod, let me know. :)
Oh, and this is not a sign up thread. Just a warning to the mods/looking for a co-mod thread.

My first games were in there. Where I never got past the first phase. Damn Noob-killers.

@ K-Ness, don't take this the wrong way, but I'm looking for someone with a little modding expirience. Someone who has run a couple games and knows what a good balance is.

the only thing odd it's include characters from All Stars 1.
I mean, All Stars are make from all games. or not like repeit or something?
Unless All Stars 1 have a original character who was not in any other game.
Since All Stars 1 is included, characters from any game, all the way back to the beginning could potentially be included. That's why it is in there.

I have a question for you guys. When I get to All Stars 3, games like Vanilla Mafia and Something Different parts 1 and 2 are included in the range.
These games don't really have roles, should they still be in AS3?
If so, should I have one role representing all Vanilla games, or 1 role per Vanilla Game?

Mmmm. If that games have really not roles then no.
But as homage to that games you can chose a character from other game and make that character a vanilla.

I was thinking of including a role like "You are Vanilla, representing all Vanilla games", or "you are the doctor from Vanilla Mafia, you protect people" etc.
This is still a ways off though.

I can't even start getting it ready until I hear from hellskingpin and Doombot. I've PMed them both a multiple times.
If I don't get any roles from them, I'll have to go thread diving and pick roles out for myself.

Really, the only SD game that had real roles was the fourth one, which was more or less the "These are all the roles Jack would randomly include one at a time in vanilla games but he didn't feel like running 10 vanilla mafia games" game. :rolleyes:
