View Full Version : Interest in DBZ Mafia Redux?

Well, I brought it up today, so I might as well ask the question, but first, a little history for the newbs:

Back when we first started playing Mafia on this forum, I was starting a game that was DBZ-themed. It went well enough, but I was a bad mod. My writeups were HORRIBLY specific, and I let loose far too much information. And then, I hit a wall. I met a girl, found myself too distracted to continue, and retired from Mafia. And that ended the game abruptly.

However, I think most people in the game were enjoying it. So......


After Vanilla Mafia III, I'm going to be taking a bit of a break. I'm going to let other people continue to mod the Vanilla games for a while (hell, it takes nothing to run them), and I'm going to start working on making a new DBZ mafia game.

This is NOT a sign-up thread. This is a thread to see what the overall feeling on this would be. I would appreciate candor. I'm looking to see if people would be fired up for this, or if they'd be leery of having me run a themed game again. I'm open to options (even if they involve me not running the game) and thoughts on this.

I'd be in for this one, Hell it was the sight of the DBZ mafia that inspired two of my own. Plus I don't think there is a DBZ character I wouldn't love to play as, but I'd keep my fingers crossed for Vegeta

And from what I remember you didn't give up too much information in the write ups. None of my actions that made the write up, that I can remember, gave me any clue as to who the bad guys were. Though I guess I'd have to go back.

Yeah, Destructo Disk. Never used it though.
