Any aussies get the Worlds Finest figure?

Hey mates,

Well I sent away for mine, but since my store appears to have been one of the last in Australia to recieve it, I doubt I'll have much luck. I put a note with it explaining the situation, but I doubt they'll care.

Anyone get there's quickly after the release and send away for it in time? Anyone have their card charged? And finally, anyone actually recieve the figure in Australia???

Destiny sent me a PM saying he's going to have some redeemable at a convention later in the year (I think it's in Qld, so no chance of me going anyway, not while saving to go overseas next year). In any case, I sent my only sales receipt with the ones I sent to the States. I should have got a seperate receipt for each brick I bought, but too late for that now I guess.

I believe quite a few people got theirs here. I missed out but I cannot get to Qld to redeem, though I have form and reseipt. You SHOULD take advantage of the opportunity, there can't be many people who will be able to.

You should go back to your retailer and ask for a copy of the receipt. It should be no problem for them and you did buy several bricks. If you explain why (sent yours away to Wizkids) they should be sympathetic - you are a customer. The 'shoulds' are based on respect of the retailer/supplier/custumer relationship - customer service is supposed to be a big deal nowadays. If you want to cover your rear you could also email/write to Wizkids explaining your lack of receipt as it was sent to them - they would be supplying the WFs at the Con - again, you are a customer and you followed their instructions to send them to the US.

I sent mine of on the 6th (day it appeared in stores here), no charges to the card. :(

Looks like they may of held back some stock for overseas orders after all. I sent mine in on the 6th, day after the announcement of sold out. Will let you know if one appears on my door step in the next few days

Not me. recieved a letter yesterday with the voucher and receipt in it (but not the booster bottoms) and a sticker on the back saying 'Promotion Sold out'

If you've been charged for them you should get them I would think.

I sent mine in pretty late. 24th of May I think (3 weeks late). Sent it by express for what it's worth, but figured it was too late. Alt Worlds only got the stock in then.

Congrats, when did you send in and when were you charged?

I sent on the day of all the threads about the WF being sold out started, got home and read them, oh well trade/ebay here I come.

I decided to wait after reading all the complaining and pricing.

On Monday this week I noticed a "pending validation" or somesuch of around $8 so that gave a little spark of hope - Thursday it arrived.

Nr 2968/5000.

I got my World's Finest. 3900 of 5000
Sent off late for it but before I heard about them being sold out.
Got a call from a friend who got an email saying that some had been put aside for international people so I was happy to of sent it off.
I wasn't worried if I missed out.
Mine took about a week to get here from when I saw it on my credit card.
