View Full Version : How long before I worry? A deadwood Q?

I know there's a lot of people waiting for deadwood, but I still have rolls to fill. How long before I should reevaluate my rolls and make changes? Or should I leave it open? Basically, what's the longest you've had to wait for a game to open?

I keep hoping other people will join, but haven't had much luck. :(

The longest wait I dont know? Greek mythology is well over 4 months as is Secret wars and I know a lot of people are still waiting for Simpsons. I dont think most people will mind anyway as I think people are at a saturation point now. I think mafia is getting a bit big and we need to spread the games out more anyway

Secret Wars was completed a couple of weeks ago. It was played in secrecy. Everyone swore to keep it a big secret. I have now just blown it wide open, but there you have it.

To Anony:

Personally, it's up to you. If you think the game you have now is how you want it, if your roles are balanced, if your roles are fun, if everything is how you want it don't cut anything. It might take longer than you want, but you'll get players.

You only need a little over 10 more players and eventually, someone else will take it upon themselves to get other people to join your game or people will finish games and find they have time for it or maybe watch the show and become interested in the theme.

I really wouldn't worry too much about cutting it except if you just find that there are some really unnecessary roles or roles that you don't like or to make room for mafia roleclaims.

Helles Belles! Pirates vs Ninjas is still waiting for players, and I opened sign-ups for it a year ago! And my Improv-a-gogo game looks to be going the same way!

Thats a shame about the Improv a go go. Your cartoon game was quite fun and I think if its half the game At the game bar was well it will be phenomenal

I'll sign up once three or four of my other games have ended. I don't want to disrespect any game mods by being in too many at once.:grin:

If you're still interested in running it, TBB, you should probably bump it.
And how many does your MSUesk one still need?


If Deadwood hasn't started when I get out of some mafia games (I think I'm playing a whopping 8 of them right now), I'll start harassing people to get them to play. :p

No, it is. I just like bringing up that it is *ahem* "dead in the water."

One of these days I'll go back to it, but after my grad plans have come to fruition. It sort of seems like a Mafia's greatest hits game now anyway. When I do finally get around to running it, I'll open a new sign-up thread.

As for my MSUesk game, there are currently 5 roles remaining. I had two new entries after I whined a bit, but my outlook is still bleak.
