View Full Version : Most wanted figure (nonremake)?

I decided to do a new poll. I took 12 of, what I thought, was the most wanted nonremakes. Including some suggestions from certain members of HCR.
This poll is pretty easy. I know what I want but everyone has a different opinion. Two names that pop up are Bi-Beast and Morbius. Pretty much everyone on this list is wanted one way or another.
What is the most wanted figure that isn't a remake? (Multivote)

Mephisto - Giant. I'd say just as, if not more, powerful than Trigon. (and a new Johnny Blaze to go with him)
Morbius - A huge Spidey-villian want.
Odin - Loves me some Nordic Godly-ness. Easily over 300.

I also went with the Mephisto, Morbius, and Odin combo. I want Mephisto as a giant and to have the star power similar to the Mystics TA.
Morbius is a no brainer, even though I have never read a comic with him in it, I like idea of what the character can do.
Odin, would just be a fun piece to play, hopefully he will have the Power Cosmic TA or maybe have a special power giving it to him, I dunno, just let me have these awesome clix!

A fig I've been dying to see for a long long long long long long time is Azazel .... father of Nightcrawler

Mephisto for sure. Him and Blackheart would be awesome to have!

C'mon where's Man-Ape!
Much as I do want the great white gorilla, I understand it's hard to include everyone's wants. Shocked Squirrel Girl didn't make the list though....seriously! :p

No contest. Julie.
Must. Finish. Secret. Wars. Before. Hero. Clix. Ends.
Actually there are only 2 or 3 other figures I would like to see made. The rest, 0 interest.

I've been wanting a Grey Gargoyle for quite a long time now. Destroyer, too.
Air-Walker would be nice, but I'd definitely want those other two first if I had to pick between them.

For me, of the ones listed I voted for Spider-Woman (Freedom Force), Triton (Inhumans), ad Tiger Shark (MOE) all fill voids in teams I would like to run.
Edit: It should be noted that before any of these figures are made (most of the others I don't care about), finishing the Marauders and getting Harry Leland are my priority.
I voted Spider-Woman, Speedball, and Destroyer. But when I say "Destroyer," I mean the WWII one. Brian Falsworth (before he was Union Jack)/Roger Aubrey (after he was Dyna-Mite). I could care less about the Asgardian armor/robot thingy.

All of them! That's a long list of must-makes, dang.

Definitely Mephisto. I don't know if it'll make sense to put him in the Secret Invasion set, but he was a major player in Spider-Man recently and that's as good of a reason as any to put him in the Men & Gods set.

No contest for me:
1. Spider-Woman for Secret Wars action
2. Mephisto for all-around evil
3. Morbius for vampire action
The others, meh... I do like DC more than Marvel so that probably makes the difference. :)

You're missing Dracula.
He's like . . . not on the list. That's not right . . .

Perhaps the first Reverse Flash, Eobard Thawne....
The Black Flash- either Walter West- with the big silver lightning bolt, or the Death Flash...
Max Mercury...
Emperor Vulcan, and the other X-Men that Chuck had psychically trained to try and retrieve his original x-men... only to lose these new ones in the process...
And the beginnings of the new lantern corps.... as well as an actual Ion figure- in the form of Sodom Yat
Much as I want to see what kind of special powers they could have to represent Mephisto mephisting people's backstories, I have to go with Spider-Woman on this one.

Seconded. Freedom Force needs love too!

I wouldn't mind a Morbius, just because vampires are fun.
But there isn't really anybody there I care about on that list.
Of course I'm more of a DC fan so that might be why.

Wonder Twins (come on! they are official DC Characters too!)
Global Guardians
Lady Quark!
Gizmo!
Grax!
Terraxia!
Monkey Joe

None stood out ahead of the others, so I voted for all of them.
Now if Deathurge, OG Human Torch, Pip, Gamora, or Rocket Racoon were on the list? Those would have all stood out.

You missed out Death's Head by accident, yes?
who the hell are these people? i mean i know who odin and mephisto are, but i dont know who most of this list are. honestly i must say that its pretty impressive that the 'most wanted figures' are not as well known. maybe WK is doing a better job than some might have thought.

..or maybe your knowledge of the Marvel universe is rather...incomplete...no offense.
but let me help you:

Air Walker
- A Galactus Herald
Bi-Beast
- Hulk villain with two-heads on top of each other
Destroyer
- Asgardian Armor meant to battle even the Celestials (this is probably the one wanted)
- A WW2 super hero
Grandmaster
- Elder of the Universe. Imagine Darkseid or Thanos, but with less actual "evil" power, but more chess.
Grey Gargoyle
- Avengers villain with a touch of stone.
Mephisto
- The devil of Marvel Comics, does deas with humans, etc, while actual isn't The Lucifer.
Morbius
- scientist turned into an artificial vampire who preys on criminals.
Odin
- Big boss of the Asgardian gods.
Speedball
- Member of the New Warriors, with kinetic jumping abilities. Now as Penance with Thunderbolts.
Spider Woman
- Carpenter, the Spider-Woman in the black costume, with psychic webbing.
Tiger Shark
- Namor as a true villain, with sharper teeth.
Triton
- Namor/swimmer of the Inhumans.
And yes, this is one of the ups or getting rid of REV. Sure, teams are harder to build, but you finally get some less known characters who would have never seen the light of day.
I chose: Bi-Beast, Grey Gargoyle, Morbius, Spider-Woman and Tiger Shark. Why? Bi-Beast, Grey Gargoyle and Tiger Shark are classic villains who haven't seen daylight so much recently, so they probably won't appear in Secret Invasion. Spider-Woman and Morbius are the same. And seen that Beta-Ray is a possibility in the 2009 set, it would be nice to have Arachne there, so you could finally field a five-man crew of the Omega Flight.
Air-Walker, Destroyer, Grandmaster, Mephisto, Odin. All characters that have high chances of getting made in the next "Thor"-related set. Triton is bound to be made, since all the other Inhumans have been popping up from time to time. And Speedball has high chances of getting in Secret Invasion.

Most wanted non-remakes? And that's the list?
Fail.
Superboy-Prime is mine, who I'd wager is a bigger want by most than the majority of that list, with perhaps Morbius, Mephisto, and Bi-Beast within the same general ballpark.

definitely Mephisto! And the Grandmaster............
but wait, what's the point? this guys would be way over 200 points them being extremely powerful beings (Mystic and Cosmic)....
Mephisto's Special power:
BONG! : If an opposing player is playing a Spiderman, remove that Spiderman from the board and replace it with another Spiderman of lesser cost. Also, remove the opposing player from the match, replace them with a player of lesser skill.
I voted for nearly everone on that list. Don't care much about Airwalker, Grandmaster, Odin or Triton tho.
Happy to vote for Bi-Beast... if I'm to have any luck in getting a Harley Quinn & Poison Ivy duo figure, I have to help out with other people personal crusade characters when and where I can.

Had to go with in order
Tiger Shark - Don't know why, but I've always been a fan of this guy and have wanted one to help complete the MOE forever.
Grey Gargoyle - Bring on the special power for this one because Incap just doesn't feel right for him. More MOE love.
Destroyer - It's the Destroyer 300+ points of destruction (or so I would expect).
No Soviet Super Soldiers or Mauraders which are two teams that need either filling out or made. Same with the Serpent Society.

Kinda funny all the Marvel Haters came out tonight. Some people get on me about hating DC.
Destroyer, was my pick. Odin, Grey Gargoyle, Bi-Beast, Mephisto, Morbius, & Tiger Shark are all great picks. & should have been made already, but there are many more I want, that I would put ahead of them(except Destroyer & Grey Gargoyle).
Holocaust
Sugarman
Mikhail
Onslaught
Rom the spaceknight
Direwraiths/Deathwings/Hellhounds
White Martians
Black Alice
Silver Banshee
Auron (or any Omega Men)
Tigor
Nimbus
C'hod
Surtur
Man-Beast
Caliban
Vengence
Deathcry
Attuma
Gamora
Nitro
Gizmo
Composite Man
OMAC(Buddy Blank)
Imperiex
Will-o-the-Wisp
Warstar(more Imperial Guard)
Smasher
My #1 would be VULCAN. in the 275-300pt range.

From the list I chose Spider-Woman. I would really like an Odin as well but Spider-Woman's seems more deserving, what with Secret Wars, West Coast Avengers, and Omega Flight.

You could always get a custom (http://www.hcrealms.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/2421/cat/556)...
I didn't vote for Destroyer because I'm assuming you mean Odin's armor, although it isn't specified. I'd love to see the Golden-Age Destroyer in Clix form, though.

I liked all of those choices, but couldn't vote for the following:
BiBeast: I really don't know this character
Destroyer: I'm not overly familar with this, but I don't think it could be done well in Heroclix format
Odin: I can see maybe an Odin effect BFC or Event Dial, but not an Odin fig.

Looking at that list??? None. Don't care about any of them.
Squirrel Girl. Hardball. Cloud 9, Thor Girl, MVP/KIA, Slapstick. Alex Hayden. Bob from Hydra, Sandi and Outlaw (yeah, like you don't want a couple of chicks who ASK to play strip poker)

My most wanted was Air-Walker, Destroyer Armour, Grandmaster, Grey Gargoyle, Odin, Spider Woman, Tiger Shark and Triton. Oh and there a figures that are personal favorites of people but are far from the most wanted.

The first step to getting around this is to properly label the topic with (Marvel).
