Description: The 2008 Australian National Championship Constructed Heroclix Event
is a 300 Point Constructed Heroclix Tournament.

This tournament will consist of a number of Swiss rounds (up to 5 depending on numbers)
followed by an elimination final for the top contestants (up to 3 rounds depending on numbers)
There will also be a Sealed Pickup Tournament running for those that do not make the final.

Time: 08:00 - 4:00pm
Venue: Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
The Gen Con™ Australia Exhibit Hall (numbers 3 and 4),
Tournament Location: Specific details To Be Advised
Entry Fee : Only Gencon Costs of $4.50 for Event ticket and the cost of Entry into Gencon

Bring your best 300 point team
With NO Duplicates of Unique figures.

Note: ALL game elements (Heroclix figures, Feats, Battlefield Conditions, Pogs, etc)
must be from Current NON-Retired sets.

(any figure from the following heroclix sets are ok
Marvel - Armor Wars, Sinister, Supernova, Avengers, Mutations and Monsters, X-Men Danger Room Starter Game, Days of Future Past Action Pack, 2099 Collector's Set
DC - Collateral Damage, Origin, Justice League, Crisis, Giant's Collectors Set, Green Lantern Corps Collectors Set, Legion of Super Heroes Starter Game
Indy - City of Heroes, City of Villians, Invincible Collectors Set, Hellboy and the B.P.R.D)

[All Other Sets are RETIRED, including the special sets
Indoor Adventure Kit (3D Objects)
Outdoor Adventure Kit (3D Objects)
DC Map Set (Bystander Tokens)
Marvel Map Set (Bystander Tokens) ]

Prizes :
First place wins an Anti-Monitor Action Pack
Second place wins something cool.
Fellowship wins something cool.
Every participant receives a HeroClix Limited Edition figure.
Boosters and other great prizes may be awarded as well.

You will also receive a Bonus HeroClix Limited Edition figure
if you pre-register by the 21 June 2008.

Every player will require a WizKids player ID
in order to participate in any Wizkids sanctioned event.
Please bring your Wizkids Player ID number with you.

If you do not have a wizkids ID please go to the Wizkids Player Registration Website
(https://www.wizkidsgames.com/register_landing.asp) and register yourself.

If anyone does not have a Wizkids ID and is having trouble obtaining one,
you are fine to just send me an email with your details (name etc)
and a Wizkids ID will be arranged on the day for you.
(as we will have Wizkids player registration cards on hand
to allocate a Wizkids player ID numbers).

Also as a Special Bonus for people that participate.
A Selection of Heroclix "Buy it By the Brick" figures will be available for Redemption
(with a receipt and the appropriate Barcodes of course)

Currently Confirmed Buy it By the Brick figures include:

Worlds Finest
Venom
(We hope to have additional Brick figures available on the day as well)

Stocks will obviously be Limited and First preference will go to people that Pre-Register.

Figure Name, Points of figure,
and Relevant Keyword if you are using a Theme team.
Make sure you include any Feat cards used,
noting what figures they are attached to.
Please Also list the FIVE Battlefield Conditions you will be using

The Fantastic Four starter set will be out in June. I assume that this means that the Fantastic Four rulebook will be legal for the Nationals?

That's really going to mix things up. :grin:

EDIT: Although now it seems that the starter set has been pushed back to the 9th of July. Three days too late. Rats!

I'm sure Bricks will be available, from Croftminster as well as many of the other Stores that have a presence.
However I can't be sure what actual stock will be available
Crisis for example has been pretty much sold out
