Which is your favorite Marvel set?
I'm going to have to go with Monsters & Mutations. Not because I thought it was an amazing set (I actually thought it was kinda disappointing), but because I've only been playing since Avengers and wasn't big into that. I guess it's M&M by default, hah.

Fantastic Forces, though it also was the debut of a lot of frustration for me.

Care to explain? I wasn't around when that set came out so I have no idea about it and the changes it brought.

Oh, the stickers were glossy (no creep on the dials) and the flight stands weren't split peg.
The sculpts looked marvelous and it had some cool characters such as Atlas and Days of Future Past Wolverine. I believe Rip it up was also in this set.
Of course, it also had the dreaded Thunderbolts and Alternate F4 with Sue Storm's 19 defense, and the veteran hoverbike Hawkeye.

Currently it's avengers. I got back into the game at that point in time. I stopped playing during Xplosion and stopped collecting when the feat cards came out as i felt the game went in a direction I didn't have time to invest in. (bought only ONE pack each of sinister and supernova out of curiosity). Avengers was also the first set I knew firsthand the release date for, so I planned accordingly. It also got me a first hand feel on what feats and BFC's do, so I'm cool.
Absolutely Supernova! :) No other Marvel set even comes near Supernova. V Thor, R Kang, R Silver Surfer, U Thanos, U Karnak, LE Nathaniel Richards, LE Iron Man, Skrulls, LE One-Who-Knows, Zombie Hulk are some of the greatest figures ever even when compared to DC sets!

Sinister was my favorite due to the character selection. Wizard, Stiltman, Trapster, Hydroman, Purple Man, etc. I love sucky villains.

I’ll go with Fantastic Forces, for all of the reasons SaferSephiroth mentioned, adding that it also introduced double based figures and the transporter mechanic as positive features. But more importantly for me, the character selection was phenomenal, with probably the best group of uniques to date on that front (then again, I’m a sucker for Silver Age and 1980s characters). Sinister receives an honorable mention for many of the same reasons.

Supernova closely followed by Mutations and Monsters.

Infinity Challenge... that's the set that singlehandedly generated the most fun for me, anyway. I'l also a big fan of Critical Mass.

Sinister! The more sucky villains I can play with the better!

Fantastic Forces used to be my favorite, but Sinister has really grown on me.
It didn't wow me when it first came out, but in the time since I've come to really love the dial designs. Creative, fun, not overpowered, they demonstrate my favorite type of dial design.
It's very difficult to balance figures that aren't too flimsy or far too powerful for their points, but I think Sinister nailed it, creating a lot of dials that are well worth the points you pay for and keep fighting until the end, but who don't just shrug off a punch and grow more powerful.

Being a fan of the X-Men my favorite marvel set has to be Monsters and Mutations. Specifically because it contained Omega Red and a very good Apocalypse.
Aside from that I would have to say Supernova was really good as well, since it was full of very powerful characters.
