Here is my team for this week's tournament. (500 Point Floor) Let me know what you think, and tell me what you would do about a certain situation.

SR Black Adam + Fortitude + Repulsor Shields= 304 points
U Dr. Sivana = 111 points
U Mr. Mind + Mental Shields = 83 points
_________________________________________________
=498 Points

My Dilemma: Do I use the Alternate team ability or do I have Sivana and Mr. Mind use the Original Team ability? I recognize the fun I could have with either, but I'm torn between guaranteed outwit or a form of poison that I would have only a 33.3% chance of hitting. What would you do?

Use the ATA. It'll make your opponent think twice about basing them.

Too bad this team still won't get the keyword bonus:( .

Who cares? I've been wanting to use all three of these characters since I've owned them! I'm willing to make that sacrifice! :p

yeah, they are my favorite DC team. I may use them in a 600pt with Mr. Mind compelling a R Shazam! and Dr. Sivana healing him (or the Vine). Worlds Wickedist unite!

I never like the Alteritive team ability, suspecialy with figures who cant take a 5 damage hit and sivive to poison

Mr. Mind and R Shazam are Archenemies.

And Black Adam has too much Battle Fury to be Compelled very well. Makes me a little sad.

Consider adding some MM fodder for Sivana.

Isn't that what Black Adam is for? :p

Drop Repulsor Shield and Mental Shields. Get some Pogs in there to mastermind onto. Sivana can handle the healing chores for Black Adam and Mr. Mind if/when they need it. Definitely use Monster Society ATA. It's a nice deterrent for folks trying to base you.

I don't like using pogs. They don't go with my themes. I believe nearly everyone here knows how I am about strict theme teams. I could POSSIBLY see getting rid of Repulsor Shield, but Mental Shields is an almost MUST for Dr. Worm...I mean Mr. Mind. He's a one trick pony. I've got to make that trick work for me instead of against me.

If you don't get past your aversion to Bystanders then your team is heading for a wreck and your opponents should have a mostly easy time dealing with that squad.

I have no knowledge about your level of strictness for theme team purposes. Theme teams (Non-Keyword version) are completely subjective. For myself, adding innocent bystanders to a team with Sivana makes perfect sense to me as he ends up endangering folks with his schemes anyways. Black Adam has been responsible for the Death of Millions of innocents. Mr Mind as a Hyperfly endangered all of creation at one point.

This will be the team featured in my next article for "Critical Hit" by the way. Find out how it did in the pages of our magazine!

Another thing I like about the MSOE feat is that you can do it at the beginning OR end of your turn. So, you can move a figure adjacent to a group and then roll for it. I just wish you didn't have to roll a 5 or 6.

You and me both. I would have been happier if it triggered on 3-6 and even settled for a 4-6. You really are giving up a good ability for something that is very situational. The only way to offset it is to load up on SE or Wildcard pieces.
