Uncanny X #497 - Rated 7 - This isn one of those filler issues to pad the TPB. The only important thing that happened was Wolvie, Kurt, and Piotr are captured by the Russians.
YA: Vision #4 - Rated 8 - Mani wish this team had thier own real book. Anyways Vision visits CAssie and tells her that he is also Iron Lad. They are one consiousness now. And he still loves her. AIM tries to capture them but the godo guys win hoorah! Cassie needs time to think if she wants to get it on with a robot... she should go ask Wanda.
X-Force #3 - Rated 7 - Rayne lives and the team finds her not dead. So one of the Purifiers isn't all he seems? Anyways Basions big plan with the Technovirus was to ressurect/make more powerful some of the worst anti-mutant people he could find. Like Graydon Creed, Donald Pierce, Stryker, Hodge, etc. Interesting stuff though I still want to see the stuff about X-23 getting called out about being a ruthless killer again.
Ms. Marvel #26 - Rated 8 - Ms. Marvel and her Skrull clone get cpatured by SHIELD but they dont know whos who. We see some hilarious scenes with Machine Man. Inthe end one ofthe skrulls is kiledl and the other (who was hiding as Carol) says she will take Carol to her not-dead boyfriends hiding place if they let the skrull go. Good read.
Wolvie 1st Class #2 - Rated 9 - Man seriously, This is like classic x-men. I feel like I felt when I first state reading X-Men. This is so good. Anyways, Kitty wants to go to a Dazzler concert but needs someone to drive her and her friends. In a plot to get Wolvie to help she throws hima B-day party and even sets up dinner with Mariko! Sabertooth crashes it all but Kitty saves the day plus learns some info about Logan he doesnt want spread. So in exchange he drives to the concert.. great book.
Mighty Avengers #12 - Rated 7 - Whats Nick Fury been up to? He avoided a Skrull assassinationa nd went to work discovering whats up. He gets Spider-Woman to help him. Oh yea most of this issue is flash backs. Current time is Nick trying to figure out whos a Skrull.
Thor #8 - Rated 7 - Thor chats wthi his dad in the otehr place and they beat on the demon thingy. Odin says he must stay to endlessly fight the demon so it never gets free. They say thier fairwells etc. Meanwhile, Donald visits Jane Foster who seriously wants him. But he tells her he came for Sif and not her. Oops! But Sif isn't in Jane and so they part ways. Sif was actually in an old woman in a nearby hosptial bed who was crying to Donald's help. A nurse shows up to calm her down and this nurse is really Loki! Whos making sure Sif stays trapped in the mortal body. Good as usual!
Ult Spidy #121 - Rated 8 - Since when is Omega Red a Spidy villian? and since when does he suck so bad? Anyways, OR shows up at the bugle to kill JJJ for a bad story they wrote about him. Spidy shows up and they fight. Spidy quips and wins. Another good issue of Ult Spidy. They only Spidy worth reading unless it's also Avengers. BTW OMD/BND can still bite me.

New Exiles- We now focus on Cat, Morph and Sage in the oncoming issues. It opens up with Sage still fighting her alter ego (Diana Fox) and shortly, after Cat messes with the main computer, the team is sucked into a Camelot type of World. They decide to help a man who is defending a dragon from some knights. After the knights disperse we cut to a scene of the man's parents, who seem to be a King and Queen of the world. The Queen is displeased that her boy has fallen in love with the dragon and asks the townsfolk if there is any among them who would slay the creature. Some muscle-bound man takes the offer and we are cut back to "our heroes" back in the Dragon's lair. Kitty experiences a problem that has her "changing" into alternate realities of herself and Sage gains her telepathy back. (Although she can't read her teammates, only other people.) After a brief argument between the Dragon and her "man" the trio decide to help the couple settle their parental issues.
I AM NOT GONNA LIKE THIS ARC. ohhh welll...my love for Blink's teammates seems to dwindle.
Also Dark crisis forgot to mention that Mastermind may be back in the new X book. Only he can affect that many people at one time and his powers seem to be focused by some girl calling herself goddess.
and since when does he suck so bad?
Omega Red has always sucked. The Ultimate version is the same thing with a goatee.
Wolverine First Class #2 was fantastic (just like the first one). I completely agree with what you said. I picked up the first issue basically because I'm a fan of Kitty Pryde. This book has turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Deffinetly at the top of my list.

It maybe a better post for one of the Secret Invasion posts but those who passed on Mighty Avengers may find it interesting that Fury has a bunch of photos tacked up with certain ones circled in red or blue.
Those circled in red:
The Skrull from Young Avengers (sorry don't read the title so do not know their name)
Wolverine
Sentry
Doctor Strange
While in blue:
Spider-Man
Daredevil
Namor
Lockjaw
a female I believe from Young Avengers
Not sure of the time frame, the issue filled in alot of Fury's activities since Secret War ended, but the one's in red seem to be one's Fury suspects are Skrulls but there is a noticeable Black Bolt in the pics without a circle at all.

.
The only thing that really bothered me with this book. Was Cassie kept mentioning Iron Lad as her boyfriend. When did they date. They kissed twice and that was it. I don't call that a Boyfriend/Girlfriend relationship.

I admit, even though I love X-Men: First Class, I passed on Wolverine: First Class because, frankly, I'm tired of Wolverine and figured it was Marvel taking something fun (The First Class idea) and cash-cowing it some more with their favourite Canadian prostitute. After reading review after review stating how fun it is, I admit I may have to check it out.

I haven't read issue 2 yet. But #1 really was that good. I t really captured the feel of those old school X-men days.

I bet he's a Skrull.
As well as that one guy who hangs out with the Runaways. He's a Skrull too, I bet.

I believe the scene happens before World War Hulk. I think that was the time period that revealed Black Bolt was a Skrull. I didn't read WWH or whatever revealed Black Bolt was a little green man.
The only pinpoint event that happens in the whole Mighty Avengers issue is Secret War. All we get is a lot of non-descript month, week, day, hour, bleah bleah time tags.
From what I recall, I don't collect Spidey I buy and read it before passing it on to my nephew, Spidey never connected with WWH at any point so it is hard to say.
We also have no idea how Fury has come to what conclusions he has come to. We do know that Spider-Woman is one of his main liasons and unless her powers are changing she is a leading candidate for being a member of the green party. Some of those in blue could very well be Skrulls because he is working with Spider-Woman but her photo is on the wall unmarked at this point so who knows what he suspects and how he may be using any info she gives him.
Unfortunately it is a flashback story that didn't even catch up to the current time.
When I was a 16-year-old girl, I never left the house.
Could be because you're a Skrull. Depends on your cup size. And, have you ever taken a long walk on a beach with your Mother and asked her if she ever gets that "unclean" feeling "down there" ???

Are you saying you have that not so fresh feeling? Might I suggest some salad dressing (vinegar and oil)?
As for my interest in your cup size... there's a bet going on about what size you are. I'm thinking "34G". However, most are thinking, or was that hopeing?, you're bigger.

Let's see (these are by my calculations):
Secret War is shown there. Secret War took place after Avengers Dissassembled, but before House of M. A maximum of 3 months before HoM. So, then there's the months after, which would still be before HoM. Maria Hill is in charge, and soon the New Avengers are created, Young Avengers have already made thair appearance by then, and then HoM happens. And the final scenes of the issue happen a few weeks after that, so it could be just before or after House of M. So everything takes place before Civil War, and before Iron Man started running SHIELD.
Here's a short chronological list by my calculations:
Xorn (end of Morrison's run in X-Men)
Avengers Dissassembled
Wolverine (and Northstar) and Hydra
Secret War
Young Avengers appeared
New Avengers are created
House of M
DeciMation
Thunderbolts (Zemo against the Grandmaster)
Civil War
Back in Black (Spider-Man)
World War Hulk
Silent War
New Avengers and Elektra
Messiah Complex
Illuminati (last issue)
OMD and BND
Secret Invasion
I think that's the "short" story of it.
I also thought Hulk 3 was really good. Next ish..Red vs. Green!
Can I ask why?
Red Hulk beats up the incredibly lame Rick Jones / A-Bomb, apparently completely alright with killing him, right above where Bruce Banner is being held. The impact of the blows supposedly causes earthquakes of increasing magnitude, eventually splitting the earth, creating a crevasse that goes down hundreds of feet, and frees Banner.
What was 'really good' about it? I didn't see anything that should've taken 22 pages to tell. The fight wasn't that great. All it was was set-up for next issue.

I am currious as well. I picked up the issue thumb threw it and saw the red Hulk holding a Gatling gun shooting A-bomb, and was blown away. So ......
The Hulk I have always really liked and I want to give it a chance but I just can't. I just want to know if it just me.
Omega Red has always sucked. The Ultimate version is the same thing with a goatee.
I'll expand on that to say any character Jim Lee creates is only cool so long as he's the one using them (for like all of one story). Once another writer/art team get their grubby hands on the property they totally ruin it.
Hulk #3
Basicly Red Hulk attacks Rick Jones (new Abomination) who is calling himself A-bomb. They are on a military instellation and a gatling gun pops up to attack both of them. Red Hulk grabs it and unloads it on A-bomb. He falls down as if hurt and when Red Hulk walks up to him A-bomb sucker punches Hulk claiming he cant be hurt. Red Hulk questions that and starts pounding A-bomb until the force of the hits causes the room Banners in to cave in and he starts pounding on the class and afraid of dying ina cave in turn into the Green(but brainless) Hulk. He then confronts Red which lead to next issue.
They give hints as to Red's identity at the beginning as they show Iron Man, She-Hulk, and Maria Hill kind of doing a damage report following last issue. Everyone is accounted for Except Doc Samson, Thunderbolt Ross, and Clay Quartermaine(I think that's how it's spelt) a shield agent. Then Stark watches the video of when Samson and Ross visited Banner. Just before they leave Banner whispers something Ross that's inaudible but the last part is. in which he tells Ross "to be careful". As if he might know who Red is. Also just before Gatling gun pops up, a retinal scan pops up from the gate at the base and scans Red, then states "Identity confirmed", to which Red destroys the scan before it completes the sentence. After which the gun pops up and Red grabs it saying , "this is more my style" or something to that affect. At first I thought Samson was Red, (mostly because of his highly-detailed knowledge of how Abomination fought & died) but after this issue it points to the Shield agent becuase of his knowledge and use of guns. But that could be a Red-herring.
Personally, I think it's a cracked Amadeus Cho.

Actually I still think it's Doc Samson...When Ross and Banner are in there whispering it shows Doc arm up and flexing with a giant vein in it. I think he was on the verge of changing and stopped himself.

I was suspecting Samson at first, but now suspect that Quartermain could be Red. There is a moment when Red Hulk looks back and to me, he resembles Quartermain.

When you read Mighty Avengers this week and look at the last two page splash and see Fury with the pics of heroes and some are circled, I noticed that Hulkling is circled in red and so are a few others. We know that Hulkling is a half breed skrull so there might be some connection to the others. I think any ways.

Yep. The last issue was just an excuse for Sage fan-service. Clairemont is really focusing on the "What's up with Cat?" sub-plot, but he doesn't seem to realize that nobody gives a ####.
And Morph is so out of character it hurts me. Sage appears buck-naked and he doesn't say anything? Bull####.

Eh, I don't know. Tne latest ends with Regular Hulk gearin' to fight Red Hulk, so maybe next ish will provide some insight.
Really enjoyed X-Force, Bastion is one of my new favorite villains.

Agreed. The way he died was so stupid and I felt exactly the same way; but, the fact that it was Graydon Creed kind of made more sense within the context (and is pretty cool to boot.) Man am I loving X-Force!
As for Exiles... well, i dropped it when it re-launched and would've dropped it about a year before that if I wasn't such a completionist. Honestly, I couldn't even tell you what happened in about the last year or so - I couldn't even remember what was going on from month to month because it didn't make any sense and I just couldn't bring myself to care. There's just nothing nice to say about what Claremont has done to what was once an awesome title...

Well, maybe the owners of the company use his writings as a write-off on their taxes.
It'd be weird if Red Hulk was Betty. She'd want to kill Emil, afterall, it was his blood that "killed" her.

But why go after Bruce? And Rick?
Bruce didn't try to save her and Rick looked like the Abomination returned. People get angry, they say or do things they might normally say or do, and they don't think things out rationally.
So, why doesn't she 'hulk up' like She-Hulk? What's with the transgender transformation?

Gamma rays affect different people in different ways, and while she'd once been affected and became the Harpy, the circumstances here differed in that she recieved blood that had been affected...
That...... and she could be having the world's worst recorded case of PMS any woman has ever had.
