So I have been thinking about it, there are a lot of roles I have never been.
I have never been the cop.
I have never been a serial killer.
What are some roles that you have never been?

Resurrector comes to mind.
But I'd have to see a list of roles in order to tell you what I haven't been.
I have also never been a rezzer.
Cop, misdirector, mafia don, SK, tracker, reverse tracker, mind controler, vote stealer, silencer....

Hmm...I think I've been darn near everything though - as someone pointed out the other day - I do have a higher-than-normal tendency to get either Mafia or really unusual roles.
Never been these
reverse tracker, mind controler(starting as, I did inherit it once though) , vote stealer, silencer, forensic cop

I don't recal ever being a vig. And I think that is it.
I've been Mafia Don at least 5 times. Atleast 4 silencers. SK on multiple occasions. Think I have been Blocker, know I have been tracker.
Don't know if I have been a doctor...
I've never been a ressurector, normal cop, a vig that lasts beyond night 1 or 2, bodyguard, jailkeeper, janitor, busdriver and lawyer

I've been a cop, misdirector, vig, serial killer, don, role blocker, doctor, recruiter, tracker, reverse tracker.
I think I've been all of the big ones at one time or another.

Caveat: not counting current games....
Considering I came to the game late and have not played in all that many, I've been don twice and a recruiter/don once.
I've never been a doctor, bodyguard, janitor...seems like I've been most things at least once.

Been a Tracker/Reverse Tracker A LOT! Either speciffically, or as a Jack of All Trades.
I've also only been Mafia once, and we almost won that game (Transformers 1). Plus it was a really great group to be mafia with. We were highly organized, and shared info freely.
I've also twice had the power to end the day phase as someone that won only with the town. Go figure that out.....:cheeky:

In my first game, I was a cop (Mario). I never saw the thread open and was lynched on the first full day phase.
The second game, I was a double voter (Sailor Venus).
My third game, I was... someone who did something in the Dr. Who game. I was a woman and part of a three man mafia. I died early.
I think my fourth game was TMNT, in which I was the don (Leonardo).
In my possible fifth being Allstars 1, I was a janitor (Crimson Cowl).
I don't remember the rest right now.

Never been a cop, vig, bus driver, or mind controller. I think I've been everything else at some point. Maybe not a cop either.
Never been a lawyer.
Never been a PGO after it was accepted that they wouldn't die if targeted for a kill.

I know, but those aren't really defined as "roles" per se. I loved my Venus role and wanted to win with her again, but Nooooo... KitsuShel had to try to be a hero. :rolleyes: :p
And I was a vote negator in Anime Mafia, now that I recall.
There is 1 role I have never been that I can think of. I've never been a PGO.

That works though I was thinking more along the lines of specific characters that keep popping up in games like, say, the Batman. :)

It was great.
But you got lucky when some people (Like Antipathy- Human Spider) block you in some nights. With a little more blood on your hands you would never survive the town's rage. :p

I'd like to play the Vigilante/PGO/Serial Killer.
I'd also like to play in a mason group sometime.
In HORROR! I had many different night powers, but I was always the "doc" (except 1 night out of seven)...so that kiboshes many of my answers.
I've never been the vigilante (except in Carlos' HORROR, but that doesn't quite count). To my knowledge I've never been a miller.
I've been every type of cop: Paranoid, mafia, insane, vanilla, recruiter* (Miss Martian), special targetter/flavor cop (Amanda Waller)
I've been the doc about 5 times: All Stars, Doctor Who, HORROR, and at least two others that slip my mind.
Once: I've been the PGO (twice if you count Validus), busdriver, mason misdirector, Role-blocker, and several other specialty roles including partial SK (which luckily didn't activate until very late in the game), serial bomber.

Never been able to kill anyone, by PGO, SK, Vig, except I've been mafia.
I was a busdriver in Marvel BYOC (My first game!), was lynched Day 1 for no reason, IIRC.
As a vig I am always cautious after Carlos's first game when I was Magnito.

Busdriver comes to mind. I got a one shot busdriver power in Truffle's game and I loved it. Wish I could do that all game. Mafia busdrivers are fun too.
Haven't gotten to be a vigilante, though it would be a lot of fun.

I have a strange penchant for getting either mafia or evil-neutral roles.
My first two games I was a SK. And then when I do get a good town role (doctor in Lost Room mafia) I botch it up.
I have never been a Vig, Bus driver, Lightning rodder, resurrecter and a bunch of other roles that just aren't coming to mind.
I've never been a lawyer.
And I'd love to have the role sometime. There's just so much nasty potential with the role.
btw, what the heck IS a bus driver? I don't see that term anywhere but here on HCR. :noid:

It's a person that can switch two people so that anybody targetting one, will target the other.
(i.e. I'm a busdriver. I pick you and Raiserb1ade. Now anybody that decides to target Raiserb1ade will now be targeting you. And anybody targeting you will now target Raiserb1ade)
It was used to a real nice effect in a Harry potter game if I remember correctly. Voldemort ended up killing himself because of it, I think.
Yes, he did. DocDoom was Voldemort and Kit was Hermione. I knew Doom would try and kill Kit, so I switched them. Doom targeted Kit, got bus driven to himself, and he was out of there. :grin:

Thinking back on it, I have never been vanila. The closest I have been was a prince, and then a one shot vig. haha, that is not an excuse to make me plain. I want the streak to continue.

I doubt it, seeing as there was a lawyer in the very first mafia game ever run on HCRealms, way back when.

The townie (non-mason) lawyer seems to be an uninteresting role: An uninformed lawyer is just as likely to make a bad choice as the rest of the town....and If the target has to be chosen during the night, the power is likely to be wasted.
I think I had a lawyer power in one game, and I never used it. I know that I've had minor vote-manipulation powers a couple of times, but they were incredibly inneffective (not totally unexpected, since they can be powerful at end-game).

The first one is when there is one vote left, he can send a pm in to the mod, and it stops the lynch. As if the client is told to fake a mental illness. This is like a governor role. He can only use this claim on a person once every 3 day phases. But he can use it on other people during that time. The other is a one shot ability. The lawyer advises the client to fake an injury. So, any day phase during the game, he sends a pm to the mod saying that he wants to fake the death of whoever. At that point, that person is lynched. He may not talk in the thread, in order to keep his image up. However, he still can send in night actions. Best used on the don if the lawyer has already used the other ability on him recently.

I'll have to disagree. The lawyer can gain more information than any other standard role in the game. Not only does he get to investigate at night, but he can provide more voting patterns and other day phase treachery for people to read into. He can essentially double the amount of public data.
And, of course, he can pull off one of my favorite townie day phase moves, which is to implicate someone he knows to be a townie, just so he can gauge reactions. No other role can do that.

Yeah, that's about nothing like the regular lawyer role.
The regular lawyer is a cop who gives their investigated a 2/3 vote protection, regardless of the result.

That is really a role. Everybody who has an ability must use it on you at least once. As in, using you to go to the store. Then, after that, you have the role of a thief, and you have to try and steal everyones drugs. Very hard role. You are also individualy aligned.

Serial killing is really hard. I've only been a serial killer once, and that was part of a duo in Funny DC.
I wish I could be a PGO every game. I like roles that make it harder for me to die... :)
