Someone explain Tidal Wave...it's just merely Quake in water?
Or...if I'm reading it right...

O=Opposing figures
G=Ground terrain
W=Water terrain
A=Attuma
Those O's adjacent to the W's that Attuma is adjacent to would get knocked back by Tidal Wave?

Attuma can use Quake and Super Strength. If Attuma uses Quake while
occupying water terrain, compare the attack total to adjacent opposing characters normally and to all opposing characters adjacent (but not occupying) the area of water terrain occupied by Attuma. Characters adjacent to the water terrain are knocked back from Attuma in a direction of Attuma’s choice away from him.
It's regular quake as well as knocking back anyone next to the entire area of water Attuma is in.

The Punisher is on two cards, he better be in plastic in this set as well!

Hellllllllllo Hellboy map!
I'm really annoyed at Healing Factor. I was soooo looking forward to a return of a good Regeneration feat, and then we get this. And it's an LE feat to boot? That's just fine. It won't be clogging up my boosters, and I can play a ridiculous team that week.
The 2-3 point feats are great for their points, and a great response to the need for point filler with the 10% feat cap and lack of low-point keyworded figures in a lot of teams. Alias, in particular will see a lot of play from me.
I love Loner. Gotta be my favorite LE in the set for sure. It's a great way to put value into th non-theme teams.
Another great issue!
Feats look great, and I'm really happy to see Attuma (and a little for the Atlantean warrior, since his dial doesn't look very good. Give me the new Talia for 20 pts!).
Hoping we get a giant Orca and Triton. Anxious to see the new Sub-mariner's dial!

Thumbs up indeed for the return of generics in common slots. :) I'm not even a big fan of Attuma, but I'm glad there will be some purpose to having a bunch of dupes. And Attuma, for what little I know about him, really needed to be accompanied by his army if he was going to be made in the first place. And they look like fun figures.
Attuma + Tempest + 2 copies of Submerged = a damn awesome combo

awesome, awesome work on the mag Rock and everyone!:)
the new feat cards are soooo awesome. We have a new, watered down, cheaper version of protected.. ALIAS!:laugh: I'm loving the cheap feats!!! With the new cap on feat cards, I'm really glad we saw all sorts of numbers below 5 pts.

awesome magazine!
the surprising this for me now is that "automatic regenation" now cost half the points. :p

Only had a little time to read this morning, so I've only read the previews of the figures and feats to this point.
Awesome to see Attuma and even better to see the return of generics. And Seth did the generics just how they should be: not game-breaking but certainly useful for their points and with the capability to be a real pain in the butt.
The feats look pretty good, though I'm disappointed that the best feat is an LE (Invigorate). :disappoin I do like that the feats' cost are in line with the new 10% rule.
The sets still kind of a hit or miss with me at this point, but there are some good pieces I've seen so far.

I'm delighted to be "in print", and ecstatic at the thought of new generics and Atlantean ones at that...
but I know I'm gonna get sick of my fellow players opening their boosters, checking their pulls, and then constantly using their Arnold Schwartzenegger voice:
"It's not Attuma."
I'm delighted to be "in print"
I as well.
I hope my fellow gamers enjoy the article on gaming at the NYCC as much as I enjoyed their clixing company in the Big Apple.
See everyone at Phili :classic:

You're reading it wrong Carlos. That AIN'T Automatic Regeneration. In fact, it's a pretty carpy card. :(
(Edit - I should clarify that I'm GLAD it's not a great card...if they gave us Auto Regeneration as an LE feat, THAT would suck. :( )
Good issue though Rock. Keep up the good work! And thanks Wizkids for working with Rock and his magazine!!! It's really starting to feel like the days of the Tuttle regime and it's "Iron Curtain" are over. :)

that was my frist critical hit issue i have read all the way through. great issue.

I concur. I think Healing Factor is pretty awful. Very rarely do people run into a situation where they "are out of action tokens", especially after the first few rounds.
This card means you still need to potentially push to use it.
Actually, I think they should have rewritten Automatic Regeneration.
Think about it:
"Choose a character. As a free action at the beginning of your turn you may Roll a d6. On a result of 3-4, heal the character 1 point of damage. On a result of 5-6, heal the character 2 points of damage. This character cannot use regeneration for the rest of the turn".
I think that would be far better balanced and still keep the utility of Automatic Regeneration, for the cost.
As it stands, I think Healing Factor is a waste of points.

Nice work, Rock and Co. Hopefully I will be able to make some more 3-D buildings for the magazine soon.
Attuma has been on my want list forever. Getting an Atlantean Soldier is just a bonus on top of that. Awesome special power! Waterlogged figures are getting some offensive punch.

Another great issues guys. I love the pic for camoflauge. ;) Also the Atlantean generics RULE! Gonna play those with Doom and the new Namor. Loner will be great on The Hood also I was hoping Frank to have the sharpshooter attack but i think id rather see him have acess to these ba feats

Can you use Auto Regen and Healing Factor together? Meaning use auto regen for free, then if you still have regen, use HF?
