Secret Wars - The Re-Sign Up Thread

Due to changes in the player base while there was the delay in starting Secret Wars, I'm asking people to re-sign-up if they still wish to play, as well as inviting other people to join as well (priority for space goes to those who had originally joined the game). If you were previously part of the sign-up list, your character will remain the same; characters from people that don't rejoin will go into the pot for new players.

Some of the original sign-ups are no longer active in Mafia games so I expect that will free up room right there (I was already trying to find a few replacements and this just seems the easiest way). It's probably the most entertaining comic event I've ever read. Annihilation coming in at a close 2nd.

At one point, during the game, you will receive a PM that will tell you that you have access to your special power for the game:

"Be Dropped on Hulk": When you have access to this power, you may PM me during one night phase to be dropped on the Hulk. And everyone else with him. When you do, if the Hulk is dead, you will crush everyone and win the game. If Hulk is alive, you will be caught, and eliminated from the game.

We've not gone past what I feel is the optimal amount and are entering the "reserves category" (as I want to give some of the original signers that I know are moderately active still a chance to get on-board).

There are also a few people that signed-up that have not been particularly active and I want to speak with them as to how much they will participate in the game; this is not going to be too easily slackable or "fly-under-the-radar".

If someone's name is below the ----- in the sign-up thread, they are a Reservist (unless I decide to come up with some more roles).

Same here. Dalek's are awesome....and K-9, well, and the Tardis...but overall I'm not really into Dr. Who. Saw an episode when I was a kid that really creeped me out, which turned me off the show. Haven't seen any of the new series either.

My biggest problem was that the Mafia participation group has changed so much that the sign-up threat was so vastly out of date as to need a restart and I wasn't sure how that would fly with people. :o
