The Mad Thinker and his Monkey assistant Igor are up on my trading block.

53 point villain PC/Outwit/Perplex/Willpower and Mindcontrol!

50 pt Leap/climbing wildcard tie up piece with a glut of shape change and super senses! Not to mention Perplex!

It'd be like Marvel Adventures Hulk #7, where Hulk gets the Power Cosmic, and the monkey at the zoo pokes him in the eye so he gets angry enough to whip Terrax!

Seriously Hulk plus Power Cosmic and he still needs to get angry to get the jobber to the big guns Terrax that hulk is pretty sad

Hmmm, at the end of this round I have 34 points, I'd gladly trade those 34 points + Scourge + my mid season draft slot. I could trade Doombot, although I'm less inclined to do so than at season's beginnings, starting to think he might be important for me.

Let's talk, what are you into?

hmmmm....see, the thing is, i WANT that Skrull Emperor. I just don't know how much he's going to cost, so i'm trying to bank some points.

Tactically, Doombot is the best fit. I don't much need a draft spot, as i only imagine i'll be needing 1. I'd do Doombot and scourge and points if you're willing :)

I don't think you'll have any trouble dumping the Thinker for good points though, villainous PC is a hard find.

Well we'll see what's going on when the eventual draft does come. I'm really just looking to pick up the Skrull Emperor from SI, and if i can do that with 34 points, you're the guy i'm gonna go to ;-)

I'm almost 100% down with the trade zak, just gonna wait a lil bit on that one. Is there a time you'd want him by? Say the mid-season game or after?

Either is good with me Vagrant King. No real upgrades I'd seek for the Mad Thinker, he's perfect as is.

Just let me know whether you'd rather trade for the Doombot, or trade for points from Peers. I'm not sure whether you want the Doombot for his points or for use.

If it's for the points, Peers can get you more and has wanted the Doombot for a while and will pay above cost (40 points + a 40 point figure). As a straight taxi the Doombot's use to you or I will soon become quite limited, as his serviceable 6 movement will be cut down to an unacceptable 4 when carrying a friend under the new rules. Peers however can make great use of the Doombot's wildcard TA when paired with Mr. Mind.
