I've accidentally been collecting the Secret Society of Super Villains
I wanted Vandal Savage for my DC 1 Million
I wanted Felix Faust for my Galactic Guardian Foes
I wanted Psycho Pirate because he was my favourite Crisis character
I bought alot of JL so I have a Captain Boomerang and a Chronos
I plan on getting an E Mirror Master at some point for Wildcard/Cool Sculpt/Transporter
and I recently wanted Professor Zoom after seeing Reverse Flash in a Robot Chicken Parody
So if I add Ultrahumanite/Gentlemen Ghost (I just like Ultrahumanite and Gentlemen Ghost goes great with Vandal) then I'll have over half of them...the remaining will be Rookie, Experienced and 1 Uncommon.
Anyways.....to the team......
I wanted to try out Professor Zoom who was 99 points
I figured a fun and useful figure would be Felix Faust because he's got Mystics, Perplex, PC, Barrier and other handy powers. (perfect 200)
My friend informed me I had theme....that wasn't my intent......but I'll take it....
It turned out I had theme and added a Lucky Break to Zoom, it made sense to me......they did really well....they faced a 2 Skrulls, 2 T-Bolted Skrulls and 1 Iron Fist. With Low Gravity and all the TA change it was alot to keep track of but I still won.
I really enjoyed using Reverse Flash and if there had been Invuln I would been able to hit it for 1 (Perplex from Felix) with Zoom then run back and far. Maybe even Barrier after so I can't be hit back for sure.
I didn't use the team to the best of my ability and my opponent Super-Sense/Skrull/Shape Changed half the damage but it was alright, fun game.
I don't know if I'll end up getting all of the Secret Society of Super Villains (or the alternate TA)...but I have some good and fun ones...I will probably wait for Rogues Gallery since there will be some new members surely who will be legal and hopefully very effective.
