Any Aussie Targets stocking Alphaclix?

I've been checking my local Target regularly for the last couple of weeks and no luck so far. I'd like that exclusive bats for the sculpt.

Is Australian Target even part of the same chain as the US Targets? I would have thought so.

I guess it will probably just take longer for them to show up here. And even then there's no guarantee that my local target will stock it. So anyone see some in their Target?

Bit of a bump, But are ANY stores stocking Alpha clix? I went to my local Clix place in Melbourne and did not see any at all (they didn't have Antimonitor either, But I have seen it around). Same with target, but not seeing it in stores has me miffed.

I know Sydney generally get things first, so have any of you guys got it yet?

Kings Comics had Alpha - purely because they get their stuff in through comics channels rather than gaming. They usually get everything first.

Good Games Burwood didn't have Alpha this weekend, nor did Tin Soldier York Street on Thursday.

Mind Games told me they are expecting Alpha in this week. They said they'd call me when it comes in.

Also, a friend of mine who knows someone who works at Target said that the Target employee believed that they are getting Heroclix in soon. Take that as you will.

gaming stores in Melbourne are now getting this in, still no sign of it in target thou (may appear during / after the sale)

I do not See Target Getting any Clix Products any time soon.
Unless they deal directly with WizKids, Which I don't think they will, they won't get any.

Crofty Deals with K-Mart, and shops that are related to K-mart, Like Coles.

Please note, I am refering to the "Big" chain shops that deal with a few things, IE, Toys, Video Games, Cloths, etc, not just one thing (Like Toy World deal with only toys.)

Except.....Target have an exclusive distribution offer going with this set of clix. It's been organised between Wizkids and whoever Target's collectable game distributor is. So, assuming that it's the same for aussie Target's as it is for the US Targets, then there's a good chance we'll see them. It just might not be for a while.

Don't forget in Australia, both Target and Kmart are owned by the Coles group

Cool, thanks for the info Keef. Glad to know it will happen eventually. It's going to be annoying having to keep re-checking for a couple of months though (probably longer, knowing them).

BTW, how much are Alphaclix boosters selling for at your stores? With only 4 figs I thought they'd be cheaper, but at the two stores I saw them in today in melbourne one had them for $14 and the other for $16 a booster! Pretty crazy!

One of my haunts has them for $14 a booster, I guess they figured 4 figs, same price as the old boosters.

Bought 4 at $14 each. 2 Comish's, 0 Oracle's :( and 1 alfred :cool:

the price is making me re-consider buying any more, or just trading for what I want

I split a case with a mate. He got an Alfred and I didn't. But I did get both Jokers. :)

Gah! bought another 2 boosters, another commish and a second Alfred (did get an oracle :cool:) No more booster buying till target gets them in.

Will have to finish updating my H/W button (have added batman Alpha, still have a lot of haves to enter)
