How do Mods handle the Pyschiatrist who can change someone alignment?
If a Mafia member was turned townie, how do you keep them from telling the town who is mafia? Modkill?

The Psychiatrist is designed to recruit the SK into the town, and depower him. He really shouldn't be used on the Mafia, mainly for the reason you mention here. Mafia members should never be able to be recruited. You can tell a player a thousand times to never mention his old teammates, and he's still going to try and get them lynched. It's just too messy.

I only did that once, and I made strict restrcitions on their ability to comment on other members of the mafia. He slipped up once in a minor way, I let it slide-- but I wasn't really happy with that as a solution. The mafia gunned for him regardless, assuming him to be dangerous.

The closest I ever came to having that was in South Park, where the Mafia Don left his group and became a serial killer.

The mafia decided to block/kill him.

OK. So, The Pyschiatist isn't recommended. I thought I had the perfect role for Doc Savage, who prefered to "recondition" any bad guys him & his team caught.

Make him a backup Doc/Psychiatrist. But in the purest sense. Make it so he only works on the SK. If the SK gets killed, or the Doc gets killed, make him a regular Doc.
