Hey guys, nice show. I'm trying to learn about heroclix and this is certainly going to help.

Would you consider adding something like a "noob tip of the week"? Or even doing a one-off intro to Heroclix show?

EDIT:

BTW, over on VSRealms, a mod (eekamous) produced a deckbuilder utility (called VSed) that could print to UDE deck-registration sheets. It was converted for WoW TCG as well. Maybe something could be done to convert it to Heroclix. The only problem is eekamouse is no longer part of the community, so I don't know if Typhon could do something with it?

I listened to the show yesterday. I enjoyed it for the most part, but I have a question. About 10:30 minutes into the show, you talk about fliers having to roll breakaway from melee combat situations. In the new rulebook on page 18 there is a tip that says the following:

Not only can a character with the Carry ability carry friends into
combat, it can also carry them away! A character adjacent to an
opposing character has to roll to break away, but if a friendly
character carries that character away from the opposing character
and the carrying character is not adjacent to any other character,
no break away roll is required.

Now, either I am confused, or you are wrong. Please bear in mind that your podcast is a kind of journalism, and most of us have learned over the past decade or so just how important truth and accuracy are in journalism are. I appreciate the effort you guys are putting into this, I just ask that you do your homework before reporting misinformation. I'm sure that the more listeners you have, the more critiques you will get. I guess that comes with the territory. I'm not hatin' I'm just sayin'...

Good luck with future podcasts.

This is true and to be honest....I read the rule book wrong. We will announce the correction in the next podcast. You will get a bit of fame.

I blame drew ... you noticed i asked the question who has to make a break away ... the flyer or the one being pulled out so i didnt know. He is a judge i thought he read the rule book. I just chalk it up to new rules and not having them ingrained yet. Things will be fixed.

I think a "Beginner's Corner" ala Mr. Rogers would be cool. Just pick something out of the rule book every week and explain things. Even seasoned players need to be reminded of core rules. :)

Hey, guys, thumbs up! The audio was much better on this episode. It sounded good on both my headphones and in my car.

Only minor problem I have now is I can't quite distinguish your voices. I'm not sure who's agreeing or disagreeing with who. ;) But maybe that'll come with time.

Can't wait for the next one. I listen at work, so feel free to make the show as long as you want, I prefer the hour or longer shows!
