It should be pretty effective, but your lack of ranged attacks may make you vulnerable if your opponent has Outwitters to shut down Green Scar's move-and-attack capability.

Like Black Prince said, range would be your only problem. I would look into packing the Tombstone for Hulk to carry. At least he would have a +2 to defense.

Unless it is for one of the Skrull events where you cannot use Special Objects. Then I say, just use all the blocking terrain on the map to your tactical advantage, and hide whenever possible.
