People they're not planning on banning him. Correction they BANNED HIM. As per the latest DCI update, GOWK is banned. On a side note, they also banned Boba BH for a specific format (Dynamic Duo, 100 point 2 figs etc...) but we haven't gotten around to using that format anyway..

It will definitely change the metagame for SWM though. I wonder who'll fill the niche left by obi...

Dags, si GOWK kasi has one of the best CEs in the game AND an annoying (not to mention deadly) combination of Abilities and force powers. Soresu Style mastery gave GOWK a super defensive ability against melee AND non-melee attacks. All you have to roll is an 11. And if that wasn't bad enough, he also has Master of the force 2 AND Mettle (each time you reroll a failed save roll add +4 to the result) which stacked. In effect GOWK could potentially make a save 3 times. (11 needed at first, 7 next and only a 3 at the end) He also has 30 auto-damage w/in 6 squares c/o force push 3.

When playing against GOWK squads if you don't have anyway to counter obi, he'll just charge up force points and then leave his often amped up followers to deal with any other minor threat. Not to mention there are many combinations that can be used to maximize an already powerful figure.

Perhaps they should've just stuck to "melee-only Soresu" (yun yung dati right?) and errata'd Mettle such that it won't be able to stack up on itself.

Mettle was never a problem really, it was his new and improved Soresu. PLus he really was under-costed. He could've been 60-70 points and they probably wouldn't have banned him.:squareeye

Haha.:grin: Not completely true. Vong that do melee will still have to try and get through soresu. The only other way to hurt GOWK would be to use direct damage special abilities like poison spit, sure he won't get to reroll against force immunity but that still gives him a pretty good shot at avoiding damage. (Which coincidentally is his biggest advantage in the game)

Also while auto-damage works, it will only go so far. Even against GMY or GMLS.

Pat, your assessment isn't quite correct. While GOWK was a recently preferred tactic, losing him won't really hinder the Republic faction. It's a loss, yes, but not a real major one.:classic: You have commanders like Yoda, General Windu etc. Republic super stealth (w/c will be easier for me to compute for w/o GOWK), Jar-Jar centric squads. (Yes it's a viable and very annoying strategy) and the like. GOWK squads were just one aspect.

Off the bat I'd easily say Grand Master Yoda from Jedi Academy and General Windu from Champions of the force. (If characters with force ratings)

Gm Yoda gives +3 atk and +3 def to followers w/in 6 squares. General Windu gives Extra Attack to followers w/in 6 squares BUT costs 72 points.
If you like clones Captain Rex and General Secura will help you out. Same goes for the other clone commanders. (Who aren't obsolete:grin:)

The others kasi depend entirely on what squad/warband you're trying to build. I suppose that's the thing with this particular faction, there are a whole lot of CEs to choose from. (With Rebel and Imperial being the other more used factions I'd wager...)

There are ways naman to give GM Yoda an additional bonus for Force powers haha. But let's keep that for another time.

On another note, I've recently bought the ROTS book version. After reading that it makes more sense why Soresu, Ataru, Djem So and Makashi are deadly. The movie didn't give enough of an explanation. Dooku apparently was suckered by both Anakin and Obi. He was expecting them to use Shien So and Ataru. He was so confident that when Obi used Soresu (which apparently he was THE Soresu Master of his time) and Anakin switched to overpowering Djem So, Dooku tired a lot faster. A graceful style isn't much use against a power-focused style nor a an absolute defense style.:squareeye

Re the maps, It's only the Christophsis map naman. The Freight Train map is still good. Consider it this way, they only restrict maps when it's not good for both players.(Yung yung sabi sa WOTC Star Wars forums at least)

A few things to consider.

Djem So Style
Q: Djem So Style says you have to declare an ability like Lightsaber Riposte before make the save. Does this mean I can't use Djem So Style if I decide to use Riposte?
A: No. It just means you can't wait to see whether or not you make the Djem So save before deciding to Riposte or not. You will still make the Djem So Style save later in the sequence regardless of your choice with Riposte.

Q: If I make the save for Djem So Style but don't want to attack for some reason like the character having Self-Destruct or Cortosis Guantlet can I choose not to?
A: Yes. The attack is optional, similar to an attack of opportunity.

I just checked the SWM forums on WOTC. Apparently you CAN use Djem So before Block etc. So I would assume that it would work for Makashi as well. Makashi-riposte or riposte-Makashi. That would have helped a while back haha. Imagine all those save rolls...better late than never i guess.

Also I did some research. CEs with unlimited range still work inside closed rooms. CEs that have range, even those expanded by Mas Amedda still have to be able to count around walls etc. In Short if you're locked in a room with a boosted CE from your usual 6, the CE would only work for those in the room. Harold, you were right all along. Hehe

Point Build: 150
Allowed Factions: Republic, Sith, Imperial, Rebels, Old Republic, New Republic, (and by default, any figure that has affinity with those factions)
Format Restrictions: A majority of your squad build must have a force rating. Also you should have a Master-Apprentice duo in the squad.

OR

We do pure Jedi Academy figs at 100 points.

I know the new Leia's a solid commander for her points but this is starting to become ridiculous. I've pulled a Leia 2x already. Granted she's one of the most useful rares in the set, but now I have an extra that i don't need.:laugh: Now I'm hesitant to get another booster, i might end up with another Yoda GM. (good pulls but i don't really need extras of those)

If anyone wants her, I'm trading her for a Cade Skywalker padawan or for 2x Praetorite Vong Warriors and an Exceptional Jedi Apprentice.

Try getting some wookiee freedom fighters from A&E, try to find commander Gree so that the wookiees can be in a republic squad, and they cost 1 point less to play with Commander Gree. They get Tarful's cmdr effect anywhere on the board if you have Mas Ammeda.

This way your wookiees can benifit from Tarful's commander effect.

I've been going over the commons and uncommons of Jedi Academy recently and I have to say most of them have potential. Take for example the following:

Synergy (+4 Attack and +4 Defense while an allied character with a Force rating is within 6 squares)

A grunt that costs just 3 points more than a clone trooper, has the same damage output and is flexible enough to be on any OR, Rep or New Rep squad. That and Synergy. This ranger can actually have an attack of up to 14 with the right commanders. And all for 12 points.

Results:
200 point republic rumble! Republic forces face off against their New Republic successors. Grand Master Yoda versus Grand Master Luke. Djem So Monster-y overwhelms all melee opponents, resulting in a New Republic win.

The game starts off with no real advantage. The Crimson Nova Bounty hunter cracks a shot at GM luke for 30 damage c/o Jedi Hunter and Cunning Attack. Luke takes the first shot but deflects the second attack. republic forces move in with Quigon sacrificing himself so Yoda can use force points one extra time. GM Yoda assaults opponents from afar via Lightsaber throw but in the end Luke closes the gap and decimates the opposition. Anakin tries to hold back the tide, but succumbs to several potshots by Dash and Djem So strikes from GM Luke. Even the arrival of fringe reinforcements merely delays the inevitable.

After what seemed like an eternity, Yoda is surrounded by Jagged Fel, Dash and Luke. Luke makes his attack run and dishes TWO/2 critical hits on the diminutive master making him "one with the force".:laugh:

Hmm...your best bet at selling your VRs would be to sell them to collectors. Among your VRs, BH Boush is the most sellable (and probably usable), COTF Malak and CS Maul though... :ermm:.

Three Way Monastery Showdown! Rebel Upstarts against Naboolese ambassadors with GM Yoda to help mediate. Game starts off as normal with the three squads trying to outmaneuver each other. The Naboo led by Amidala and Tarpals send artillerists to the Rebels. The rebels hold out in a secluded part of the monastery while waiting for the right time to strike. Yoda sends of Quigon to "mediate" and ends with Quigon haunting Yoda. In the end both Queen Amidala and Dodonna decide to face off against a severly weakened Yoda but end up underestimating their "little green friend":p

MAP: Teth Monastery

3-way battle in the Teth Monastery. Darth Sidious (aka Palpatine) feels a growing presence in the Teth Monastery, Yoda brings his Wookie Warriors to hunt down the Sith Lord, while Tyrannus and Ventress, backed up by Greivous, grab the opportunity to dispatch the diminutive Jedi master.

First blood is drawn by the Imperials. Using Boba Fett, a critical first-strike is thrown at the Republic. Killing a quarter of the wookie strike force. The wookies respond in a berserker fashion, charging into battle to avenge their fallen kindred. Vader strikes from a distance and more wookies fall. The Separatist Army, unsure of the intentions of Sidious, hold their forces back.

The battle rages on and it becomes clear who the bigger threat is. Tyrannus urges the blood-thirsty Grievous to assault the imperials, sending wave after wave of droids and doing insignificant damage. The General falls, as do the remaining wookies. Ventress see a chance to take down Yoda, but dies in the process. Yoda charges into battle, taking on Palpatine himself, while Dooku, promised that he is still of some use to Sidious is beheaded by Vader. Treachery is the way of the sith...:p

In the end, the Yoda falls at the hand of Vader, ending with a clear Imperial win.:)

Ei, good game naman yesterday with Vader, Bobba Fett and Palpatine holding victory in the end...Oh, and an assasin droid with kahoon infestation to booth. I learned one thing there now..Having T3M4 and Bobba in the same team will only get the ire of 2 players in a fatal 3 way..I must not try that again.:laugh:
SWM is slowly coming back to life with Javey, Harold, Anton and I playing sparingly every time we get the chance. What's important is its still alive.
...althoug, in all the games I play (WOW,DND and HEROCLIX), SWM still has a lot of prize support kits and lots of boosters to buy. Im very optimistic in the future of SWM minis. ;)

I just checked the WOTC SWM forums and apparently there's a rumor that they might add another element from DDM into SWM. The DDM guys know it as flanking, it's similar to the Swarm special ability that's common for ewoks etc. Just letting you guys know. So far naman rumor so it's nothing sure yet.

Antarian Rangers try to hold off against the assault of Maris Brood. Carth Onasi tries to attack Mace Windu but ends up killed by Maris. The Jedi Crusader sees an opening and pushes Maris to her doom.

Revan then takes on the echani and T3-M4 killing them, while Windu dispatches Lobot and the remaining Rangers. In the end Revan and Windu trade blows only for a Vaapad attack to break through Revan's defenses resulting in a Republic Win.

Rebel Canon squad takes on the Husband and Wife team of Mara and Luke. At first Lobot overrides the doors closed making the rebels funnel through another exit. Leia gets clobbered first, Lobot dies soon after. GM Luke closes in on "Luuke" Hoth Pilot, decimates him and those adjacent. Han gets to shoot Luke down to his last 50 hp, but Mara rips him and an echani apart dealing and falls soon after. In the end GM Luke is left facing a Bothan Noble and a Varactyl. The Bothan falls to Luke's Assault anf the Varactyl commits suicide throwing grenades in an effort to kill Luke. New Republic emerges victorious.

Highlights:
Outer rim forces pull together to stop a band of Vong Invaders. Boba Fett leads his troops against the warmaster and his guard. An early infestation of venomous kohoun knocks out lobot with ease. In response the bodyguard warriors of Tsavong Lah whip themselves into a frenzy charging at Jarael and knocking her out in one assault. Jarael tries to parry but cannot sense them in the force, she gets cut down in the overzealous rage of the warrior. Boba then directs Zam to use her kohoun pets again and it kills the same warrior with ease.

Poison spit flies, grenades and missiles shoot across the battlefield. In the end Tsavong Lah and one warrior face off against Boba Fett who desperately shoots missiles at the warmaster. The lone warrior is ordered by his superior to charge in and ends the valiant efforts of the Fringe defenders. The Vong move ever closer to their next objective, the Core worlds....

I really just find the Melee, Double Attack, and Greater Mobile Attack combination weird. I have never used a figure with these powers so I don't know how useful they are. At least may lightsaber defense. :)

Question about his CE.. Does the follower gain Momentum during that same turn or for the next turn?

Really? The Melee:Double Attack+Greater Mobile combination, it's the one Shado Vao of the New Republic has. Move, hit twice and continue movement. Think semi-hss. Plus for Anakin AND Shado you can use Knight speed to make that usual 6 speed into 10. Pretty useful combination.

Regarding the CE question. It works pretty much like Tsavong Lah's CE. You have to end your movement w/in 6 squares of the commander. So it happens during the turn. So example, you have a clone that runs up to a target, if it's w/in the CE radius of General Skywalker, and assuming the target becomes adjacent, the clone gets to use momentum.;)

Results:
Yoda leads an uprising against the Agents of the empire led by Vader himself. The match begins with both sides maneuvering to outflank each other. The empire begins with salvos from their missile carrying shock troopers. Backed by the power of Darth Vader himself, the storm troopers are more than a match for the clones gathered by Yoda.

After losing almost all the clones to a missile strike, Yoda and his commanders go on the offensive. They cut off storm troopers from the rest of their squad. Slowly they begin to push back Vader's force.

Yoda bravely takes on Vader and his apprentice. The clone commanders are taken down by the apprentice while his master faces the dimunitive jedi. Yoda manages to take down the chosen one and even brings the apprentice to his knees.

In the end only Yoda, Artoo and the Apprentice remain. Both Force combatants, weak with exhaustion pour everything into their next attack and Yoda finally gives way resulting in an Imperial win.

A Galaxy at War!

Darth Vader leads an attack against the upstart Jedi master K'Krukh and his band of fringers. Recruiting the bounty hunter boba fett to assist in the capture of the Jedi Master, the Dark Lord is unaware that a rival band of darksiders plot against him and his troops...

Three way game pitting Imperial VS Republic VS Separatist. Vader's Stormtrooper with a staggering 22-23 defense, K'Krukh using a kohoun droid to his advantage and Tyrannus letting Asajj Ventress lose on his enemies.

The game starts with the three factions maneuvering for a better shot at each other. Battle Droids fall as the Echani make short work of the mechanoid soldiers. Boba Fett scores a direct hit on the ASN droid and Darth Tyrannus meditates, increasing his force powers.

Midway through the game both Imperial and Republic Forces have sorties with both parties taking damage. The whole time, the Separatists bide their time and build up their reinforcements. Dooku finally sends Asajj Ventress after Vader and she injures the Sith Lord but soon falls to his power. K'Krukh meanwhile tries to kill the Bith Vigo only to miss several times. Tyrannus shoots lighting both at Vader and K'Krukh while their remaining troops attack one another.

In the end only an Echani, Boba Fett and Tyrannus remain. Tyrannus shoots lightning at Fett only to fall victim to the accurate blasters of the bounty Hunter. While Fett focuses on the count, he gets blaster away by the waiting Echani, leading to a Republic Victory.

But slowly and methodically they wear down he droids drawing Ventress and Grievous into Battle. After Han Solo manages to take down Ventress, Grievous concedes the battle leading to a Rebel win.:p

Anakin versus K'Krukh. K'Kruhk and his fringe companions train againt Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala. Both sides position themselves for a better advantage over the other. Anakin is towed into attack range by Artoo who gets killed by the Echani. The echani themselves are attacked by both Quigon and Depa forcing K'kruhk to duel both Anakin and Depa. Droids fall under the onslaught of both sides forcing the Senator to move close to support Anakin. K'krukh falls after relentless attacks by Anakin and Depa. In the end Quigon and Anakin face off against Jarael. With Jarael gone, it becomes a win for Skywalker and his squad.

Results:

Asajj Ventress leads the remnants of a separatist force against a new Imperial officer brought in by the emperor himself. Ventress is arrogant and believes that this blue-skinned, red-eyed upstart is just like any of the other military officers she despised in the Separatist Army.

Thrawn watches as the seasoned Separatist Warrior moves her forces into position. Sorties occur and both sides suffer losses. The Separatist feel even more confident when reinforcements arrives. However they remain blatantly unaware that this Chiss officer planned every thing carefully. Before long what seemed like a sure victory gets turned when Ventress herself gets knocked out of the battle. In the end Lobot tries to call for help but no one hears his transmissions. Thrawn wins this battle, he considers the threat that Force Users have. He smiles when he realizes that there is a way to counter such a factor. It may be time for him to visit Myrkr...

Yoda and Commander Gree lead a Wookie Strike Force against the Chosen One and the Snow Bunny. The Wookie charge into battle dealing tremendous amounts of damage. Depa and Anakin try to fend them off until Yoda enters the fray. Only the negotiation skills of Senator Amidala stalls the Wookie advance allowing Depa and Anakin to fight back. In the end not even the power of the wisened Yoda could withstand the overwhelming assault of Anakin and his Senatorial support.:p

Kyle Katarn and Leia Skywalker take action against a Bounty Hunter Revolt led by Zam Weazel and her trusty Assasin Droid. Both sides have sorties. Zam decides that it would be wise to assasinate Leia and maybe demolish the morale of the NR troops. Poisonous Kohouns are let loose and Leia assists her beleaguered allies. She falls to the insects' venom but this has an opposite effect for the NR. They rally behind Master Katarn who dispatches Zam himself.;)

Guys I forgot to mention. I Know GOWK is banned from DCI Play, but seeing that we aren't DCI sanctioned how many would be willing to allow General Obi-Wan Kenobi (Clone Wars Starter) back into games but with the following modifications:

Instead of having Force Renewal and Master of the Force 2 GOWK, for our house rules purposes will have only have 5 Force Points instead. I need a head count of those who would be willing to have this?:) Otherwise we wait for Flobi.

Simply put, occupying a gambit area is an alternative way to score points. The gambit area is 4 squares away from the center of the map (if the center is a square) and 3 squares away if the center is a point.

Five points are score each round that a player ends a round with a model within the said squares of the map. This ignores low objects and walls.

I forget to mention the other day, If all the players are okay with it, the 150pt format can easily be swapped for a Sealed booster game. Depends on what you guys prefer though.

After Kreia, the JWM, Roron and Obi fall, the apprentice takes on K'Krukh and Aayla, dying in the process. Next Round K'Krukh defeats an already weakned Aayla, winning the duel.:p

Rebellion VS. Republic VS Separatist! GMY leads GOWK and AniCON to a summit on the Ice Planet of Hoth. Separatist Leader Count Dooku is escorted by Darth Maul and General Whorm Loathsom to the same summit with the intention of Removing the Jedi from their position of prominence, while future echoes of Obiwan, yoda and Luke Skywalker revisit the events of the summit.

GOWK engages LODA in direct combat while Dooku and Maul attack GM Yoda and AniCON. Dooku and Anakin duel, Makashii swordplay and Djem So style clash. Yoda is confronted by Maul after attacking a Jarael. GOWK is repulsed by LODA and attempts to aid Yoda onyl to see Darth Maul massacre Yoda and Anakin. All the while LODA is healed by a waiting 2-1B droid of 100+ health.

Dooku and GOWK fall as LODA pushes his way into victory and Whorm only delays the inevitable defeat. Luke and Yoda go over the events with the aging master giving a crucial piece of advice: "Learn from the past, to avoid future mishaps you must":laugh:

In the end only the NR's Exceptional Apprentice, Luke and Vader remain. After several rounds of betrayal, The Apprentice kills Vader and gets pushed to death.

Both squads face off and are relatively equal in power. The New Republic uses Evade to their advantage while the Republic uses Synergy and Clone CEs. Wedge and the Rangers go into battle. Wicket assists by laying traps down and several rangers fall. The arrival of Jedi Master Unduli ends the threat of Evade for the Republic forces. Leia takes down more Rangers but falls to the synchronized synergy of Luminara and Barriss. Both Jedi heal each other only to come under fire from Boba Fett. Luminara shows her expertise with the Soresu Style and survives while both squads get devastated. When the smoke clears only Boba and Luminara stand, both weakened from combat. Luminara tries to strike but falls as Boba's quick reflexes catch her by surpise.:p

Han takes a hit but shoot back. Loda supports Han but finds Ahsoka running interference for her master. Hi Guys, Just a reminder (although I've texted about 8 people already) the tournament will push through on Dec 12. So far i've recieved replies from about 5 people. 3 have confirmed. (not counting me) If we can get one more it'll be a legal tourney and be eligble for prize support.

Also somethings to consider. What booster do you guys prefer? Otherwise I'll leave it up to you guys to get either a booster or a map pack. (if 3 players lang, the map pack is a good alternative). Please post your preferences.

Ah and yeah the format will be the 200 point constructed. DCI legal maps only. Gambit in effect.

Results/ Highlights:

WAR. The New republic is undersiege. Unknown assailants attack Outer rim worlds using superior biological technology. In an effort to combat this threat, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker sends a fact finding mission led by Mara Jade; the hot blooded Jedi master Kyp Durron and the calm and collected Master Corran Horn. Supported by the New Republic Military the Jedi move in to defend Muunlist, once the homeworld of the Intergalactic Banking Clan, as a massive invasion is underway.

Mara Jade and her companions, including her sister-in-law Leia face off against a siege force of 9 Yuuzhan Vong Warriors led by the Warmaster Tsavong Lah himself. Warmaster Lah sends his warriors in wave hoping to tire these infidel "Jeedai" Warriors.

Wave after wave of Warriors attack slowly weakening NR forces. However in a tactical mistake, the warmaster fails to realize that his small strike force has been thinned considerably by such a wreckless onslaught. In the end he finds himself outnumbered by newly arrived NR reinforcements, forcing him to concede the battle. The NR forces survive, but Tsavong Lah issues an ultimatum to the New Republic Government. "Give us your Jeedai or have your bones be ground to dust and scattered along the solar winds..."

The Battlemaster tries to head off Luke before the others arrive. Luke manages to push him away while Atton and Lucien Draay arrive to help back up the beleaguered warrior. Jarael Manages to take down the battlemaster with the help of Luke before luke falls under the constant attacks by Atton and his Echani training.

Kreia tries to keep Lucien occupied but falls to the might of the Covenant Jedi. Jarael tries to take Atton and Lucien on her own, even managing to knock out Atton Rand. Lucien takes advantage of Jarael's lack of Jedi combat training and makes short work of the one time slaver.;)

Sith Lords of all ages meet face to face in the force-attuned caves of Ilum. Darth Malak takes on his persona of Squint to convince Vodo Bass to aid him against other darksiders. Darth Vader leads his Apprentice in an effort to prove his mastery of the darkside. While Sidious calls on Maul, Tyrannus and the dark Jedi Asajj Ventress to preserve his rightful place as the most powerful sith lord.

The Empire immediately gets harrased by Malak's forces. Seizing the opportunity Sidious sends Maul,Tyrannus and Ventress to remove the opposition. While the OR forces skirmish against the Imperials, the Imperials soon find that their leader Thrawn has been assasinated. Starkiller strikes back and kills Ventress and Maul. Tyrannus retreats to aid Sidious against a strike by Vodo Bass.

In the end, Sidious convinces Starkiller to fight against Malak only to abandon him in the thick of things. With Malak's forces intact he issues an ultimatum to Sidious who retreats from combat. Malak howls in victory and proves his Dark Side Heritage.

4-way Force Battle. New Republic VS Sith VS Republic VS Imperial. Lumiya sends her Sith lackeys to harrass the New Republic force, taking down both Kyp and Anakin in the process.

Imperial forces led by starkiller try to force the Republic jedi into submission only to be beaten back by the burning power of Anakin Skywalker.

The Dark Woman and Anakin take out the darkside warriors leaving only the Apprentice. Lumiya and Kyle Katarn face off in an epic duel between a Sith and a Jedi Battlemaster. In the end, a severely wounded Galen Marek decides to take down Skywalker and Barriss with him in a display of Force Lightning, leaving only a crater in the arena floor. While Kyle Strikes down lumiya and using the light side of the force survives the ordeal, being the only survivor in the combat arena.

Highlights/Results:
Two Super Stealth (well almost for the Mando squad) squads against Obi-Wan's open circle fleet detachment. Bacara is sent to investigate a report of unknown warriors in Coruscant's gambling district. Along with Cody and Gree they face off against a small group of Mando'ade warriors. Obi-Wan brings Rex to check up on the missing clone squad.

Republic Super stealth squad faces off against Mandalorians and the defensive power of Soresu's known "master". A brief skirmish is fought along the northern streets of the map. Flobi maneuvers his small contingent behind the troops of Bacara. Bacara's men react and shoot at Flobi only to have their shots reflected back by an able gungan shieldbearer. The mandos press on and force Bacara's squad against Flobi's detachment. The Trooper, with the support of Rex and Flobi makes short work of several commandos. In an unexpected move, Bacara gets shot by the mando commander, instantly revealing the location of the rest of the commandos.

Before long the republic commando squad is forced off the battlefield. The mandos take the fight against flobi only to get their shots sent back at them, causing several casualties before the shield is overwhelmed. Rex is forced to retreat while Obi presses forward, only to for him to pull back against the mando onslaught.

In the end only artoo, the wounded repeating blaster clone and a tired Mando commander remain. Artoo tows the clone for the killing blow but the clone misses twice. The clone gets slaughtered while artoo flies away back to Anakin. The lone mandalorian regrets the loss of life and thinks that maybe it is not yet the right time for the clans to rise up.

Highlights/Results:
Thrawn versus the Revanchist himself. The empires overwhelming force bears down on the dedicated troops of Revan on the streets of Coruscants uppercity.

Thrawn sends his forces in an attempt to smoke out the hidden rangers. Not to be defeated, Revan counters with well placed shots whittling down Thrawn's contingent. Before long Thrawn is forced to send Maris Brood against the rangers of revan. She manages to do some damage, even knocking out Visas Marr but is ultimately defeated by the firepower of the rangers who soon fall to her released force outburst.

Vader, not impressed by the tactics of Thrawn enters the fray himself and Revan meets him head on. Both Sith Lords duel while their remaining forces face off. Before long only Vader, Thrawn, A stormtrooper and Revan are left. Revan manages to almost destroy Vader before he is forced to make a hasty retreat. Thrawn then approaches the wounded Sith Lord. With his red eyes blazing he stares down the Armored fist of Palpatine. "You should've listened to my strategic forecasts. This conflict was an unecessary waste of time..."

One of the best games I've had in a long time. Nicely done Javey.;)

Nice battle reports Antonn! They're all so artistically done. Just a minor thing though. The wives actually won their bout with their husbands hehe.

The husbands drew first blood by offing Lobot. Luke then continued his streak by offing Corran Horn in one turn only (lots of crits hurt! Now I wanna use mine haha). Mara Jade heard a voice from somewhere, (YOU WILL KILL LUKE SKYWALKER) and rushed towards Luke and his allies. She denied Wedge's chance of avoiding defeat, and with Leia's help, made Obi-Wan "one with the Force", who then proceeded to lend his guidance to Luke as a Force spirit. Han tried to rally the Rebels but ultimately, Leia's newfound abilities with throwing the lighsaber and Mara Jade's cunning assaults overwhelmed the newly formed Rebellion.

The enraged wookies charge into battle only to get picked off one by one by the Mandalorian Captain in command of a second battle group.

Eventually the Jedi reach Mandalore only to be pushed back by his newly arrived warriors. The Guardian falls to the warriors and Even Piell himself bows down to the power of Mandalore himself. Before long only the Mystril shadow guard and Tarfful remain. They try to fight back only to be overrun by the influx of ready warriors. The Mando'ade are victorious against the Republic.

Highlights/Results:
The Survivors of Order 66 slug it out against Vader and his Apprentice. The Snowtroopers rush into battle hoping to overwhelm the hated Jedi. Under the command of Grand Master Yoda, the Antarian Rangers keep focused. The Dark Woman and Obi-wan support the ancient master and bolsters the morale of the Troops. Snow Troopers try to rush the position only to get hammered by the waiting Antarian rangers. Before long the Imperial troops become exhausted and the Jedi move in. Vader and Starkiller move into action only to enter duels with An'ya Kuro and Obi-Wan. Artoo tows Yoda in who then takes out Thrawn. However even flobi and An'ya fall to the hammering blows of Vader and his apprentice. The Antarian rangers strike back and force Vader to abandon his Apprentice.

In the end Yoda faces off against the Apprentice who succumbs to Yoda's power. After the duel, Yoda walks to the unconscious apprentice. "Much to learn, you still have.."

december 30 is very vacant bastat huwag lang mag aya wife ko na umuwi ng caloocan, january 2 is reserved however to DDM tourney BUT we can have a freeplay, i can bring my Mandalorians and Republic! bastat pahiram ng mga fringe na 10 to 5 points pababa, isa lang kasi ugnaught demolitionists ko or captain rex or commander gree!:grin:

Alvin, don't sell yourself short. :) Your squad was pretty efficient. I haven't played against a Mando squad that had a good mix of melee and non-melee in a long time. Most of the time it's full of cloaked mandos. Your squad was balanced and you handled it well for someone not too familiar with how all the mechanics work yet. You did pretty well.;)

Results/Highlights:
Rumble in the Massasi Temples of Yavin IV! Mara Jade and Corran face off against Han and Riekkan, all hounded by the clone troopers of the 501st.

The 501st take the first shot, hammering Mara Jade before she get get into a defensible position. She waves her badge showing her former allegiance as the Emperor's Hand and just barely makes it out alive. Han waits it out with the rebel commanders while the fire fight slows down in the temple complex.

Soon the New Republic envoys head and and attack the rebellion who retaliate, taking out Mara Jade in the exchange of blaster fire. A lone rebel vanguard seizes the opportunity and shoots a missile at the clone emplacement. In exchange Rex himself takes down Reikkan. With both Rebels and New Republic beaten, Rex and his forces claim victory and wait for the shuttle to pick them up. With one last glance at the battlefield Rex sneers in contempt. "Even Clankers can fight better than these guys."

Results/Highlights:
Coruscant at Night. Obi-Wan, Han Solo and Luke Skywalker investigate rumors of a Jedi resistance in Coruscants undercity. Jedi Masters Luminara Unduli and An'ya Kuro believing them to be Imperial Spies greet them with clone wars "hospitality".

Luke positions himself and his squad to support Obi-wan who bravely intercepts the survivors. Obi-wan gets besieged by the 3 Jedi and their troops, trapping him all alone. He falls and Luke, in a fit of rage charges into the run down casino. He shoots several times only to have his blast returned by a waiting Shield bearer. Luke is then dispatched byu Barriss. Han tries to lay cover fire but misses.

Before long only the Jedi; Han and his meager troops remain. Han is then assaulted by Luminara. He is forced to retreat with his troops demoralized and his pride wounded.
