I picked up a couple of starters recently, and it's a good fun game, but I'm hesitant to get much more without people to trade with. Just wondering if any of you guys have checked out the game yet.

I don't think I'd buy near as much as I do clix, but I'd like to get some every now and again.

Nah, I've been dipping my toes into Pirates, Yes it's also defunct, but it does not look like you need much of it to have fun home games of it. and with it going under, boosters are cheap

Bar from that, If HeroClix dries up, I may take a break from gaming (My Lego Habit takes up way too much money)

I've got a fun little collection of Pirates as well. Quite enjoy making the little ships, and it's a fun game to play occassionally. I started buying them whenever I had the itch to buy clix but more store was out.

My favourites are the Vikings. Certainly not serious about the game though.

I've seen plenty of people buying it in Sydney CBD and Blacktown, and I imagine that they're playing. Clixers around here don't seem to have paid it much attention, though.

One of the stores in Perth got it in and it has taken off quietly, I had a look at the pieces and the only one that really grabbed me was the mailaway Mothership.

I might get some of the Cthulhu type monsters in future expansions.

You still need the 'standard' mothership in order to be able to play the mailaway version. The mailaway is just an alternate hyper form for the normal one, so you play them together.
