Anyone going to Cancon this year?

I haven't seen any of the promo booklets - but I guess I also haven't been looking. What's happening this year?

I don't really know. I was thinking of going down just to buy dnd books from milsims

Are their prices really going to be worth it after you spend money on petrol and the time required to drive there and back?

Found the website, btw (http://users.tpg.com.au/adsl7cnm/cancon_files/Cancon_2009.htm). None of the games I play have events there, so I guess I'll find my fun in Sydney that weekend. :p

I have to admit to never really paying attention to Cancon before, but did I read that booklet right?

Is there only two RPGs on for the whole weekend?

Has Cancon traditionally been a miniatures heavy convention, or is this a bad sign?

I think most Canberran roleplayers go to Phenomenon.
