Ever since the demise of wizkids a lot of people have gotten interested in other miniature games.
Does anyone know anything about two games: "Mutant Chronicles" and "Anima Tactics"? How do these games play?
The figures for Anima Tactics look incredible:

What other themes would interest you guys apart from heroclix, star wars and DnD?
I have the MC starter and all the Wave 1 WarPack expansions. Its a sweet game. Totally rocks! The Figs are very detailed and look good. Gameplay is easy to grasped but the game has a lot of deep tactical options that you can employ. Everything is nearly customizable, from the units in the army, to the type of orders, and to the command cards.
It is actually approaching my "dream game" status for me. :)
I've also interested in Anima Tactics and right now I'm waiting for my Dark and Light starters to arrive. I'll let you know how the game plays when I get my stuff.
Whoa! J, I didn't know that you are a Fantasy Flight Games aficionado.

Havent tried their games yet - but I saw tide of iron and tannhauser before - they look fun.
So you're saying that the players can do a lot more than just move and shoot?

heres the link on anima tactics, their characters and cards, battle between good (light) and evil (dark) with neutral thrown in the middle, sounds good to me, cute figures especially the females. this reminds me of ani mayhem combine with dark eden card game, sort of.
enjoy!:)

heres mutant chronicles, this is familiar to me, i know that there was a card game before similar to this one, just cant remember the name, the card contents are also vicious looking like the ones in the link. the logo is the same, the concept is the same, more on victory, hmmm... ill check my old InQuest magazines.

Thanks.
It looks promising if the figures look that good - hopefully the gameplay is just as good. These will look really good on the table or on your display shelf.

Would you believe there is a "GUARD" action in MC? :) Hehehehe. Figs can either move, attack, use special ability or GUARD. Guard is a really cool mechanic because you can interrupt another player in the middle of his turn.
If you played X-Com or Jagged Alliance, the GUARD ability works the same way. Hmmm... come to think of it, MC plays exactly like how I would want X-Com or Jagged Alliance to play if they were converted into a table top game. :)
Available ba locally ang Anima: Tactics?
Great Figs! sana pre-painted nlang sya..
