Plot synopsis: Bruce Willis reprises his role as Detective John McClane (from the Die Hard series) who is assigned as an undercover officer at a swank upstate New York resort. Reginald VelJohnson reprises his role as a retired cop who won the lottery and is a guest of the resort. Willis meets and falls romantically for the resort's dance instructor, Baby (Jennifer Grey), who was once a guest, but returned in her later years to capture the best "time of her life," and in hopes of running into her old mentor (Swayze). Swayze does show up unexpectadly, and a love traingle forms. The romance is cut short as the resort is attacked by terrorists seeking to hold the resort's wealthy guests ransom. In an homage to Die-hard Bruce Willis fends off the terrorists wearing tap shoes. SPOILER TWIST: We learn Swayze's character from the first movie is the real villain, come to exact his revenge on the resort for firing him years ago.

Reilly falls in love with Jack's darkly mysterious counterpart, Mr. Hyde (Malkovich), much to Mary's chagrin. Hijinks ensue as the love triangle (quadrangle?) plays out and the witches curse is finally broken.

Plot synopsis: Eddie Murphey is a wise cracking private investigator who must travel to a Rehab center in Vermont to get some vital information about a case he's working on from Nolte. Nolte and Bullock play raging alcoholics in rehab while Buscemi acts as their guidance counselor. Eddie Murphey sneaks into the facility just as all hell breaks loose when Cillian Murphey, also checking into the instituition accidentally unleashes a zombie plague. Nolte and Bullock at first assume the Zombies are a symptom of their withdrawl, but quickly realize they're in danger, and begin a very sobering journey of survival.

Sadly, I saw a preview for CRANK 2: High Voltage last night and it looks like some wierd movie amalgamation:

Chelios faces a Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.

I laughed so hard at how stupid this movie looks. Like a parody of itself.
