And next time you need help from a cop, remember your above statement and kindly refuse their help, or don't bother asking for their help. You don't deserve it after ignorent statements like that.
And yes, I do work in law enforcement and I am offended by your insulting words.

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of themself without that law is both.
Have fun using underhanded trickery and people's ignorance of their rights against them, pig.

Editing my post to end a pointless and silly debate.

Have I struck a nerve? At the very least I've derailed the thread. Didn't anyone ever tell you not to feed the trolls? Or perhaps you missed the obvious tell in my sig.
I love the high-and-mighty cop attitude, Type A personalities are the most fun to toy with.

That's what I was wondering, too. How much man-power has gone into looking for the non-killer?

2 years worth really, so i'm sure quite a bit... it's just one of those things, it's embarrassing to the law enforcers, but i would think they'd notice the differences between crimes to tell that hey...it doesn't add up and rethink/exam things...

basically =/ it's just one of those things... that are both kind of funny due to how obscure it is, but sad because it's ruined peoples lives a bit, and let some bad guys go get away...

Well, of course s/he was a myth.
You can't kill phantoms. Only bust 'em.
