I know that Shellhead is not supposed to work on a clix that has the indomitable shield symbol. I was wondering if there was errata that I missed so shellhead can work on my indomitable characters?
Sorry if this question has been brought up already.

It is perfectly legal to assign it, but it will give no bonus to the figure.
It adds +2 to the :d-normal: symbol, but since the Indomitable figures have the :d-indomitable: symbol, they get no bonus.
On the flip side, you can use Passenger and Haymaker without the damage and even use Darkness Within to "damage" them without actually damaging them.

One way around this is if the Indomitable figure somehow gained Earthbound, which would cause them to get the standard shield defense symbol (and lose the Indomitable ability). There are currently no Indomitable figures with Earthbound on their dial, but any flying figure with Indomitable can get Earthbound through the Crosswinds BFC or by being attacked at range by a figure with Swingline.

Don't forget Double-Time! Makes a nice combo with Passenger.

Where in the rules book does it show this? Granted I got to go look it up. But this is something that I didnt know.
I don't think it's explicitly stated in the rulebook, but the precedent was set with the Homing Device feat card some time ago:
"HOMING DEVICE†
• When assigned to a non-standard character, the character can use this feat and would not suffer the modifier penalty (as they do not have that icon on their base)."
(from the Player Guide)
Homing Device has a -1 penalty to the standard damage symbol; giant or collossal characters assigned the feat don't get this penalty since they don't have the standard damage symbol.
Same thing for Shellhead + Indomitable.

I'm not sure what kind of line in the rulebook you're looking for. Are you saying it would need to say "When a feat allows for the modification of a combat value based on the combat symbol, it only applies to that combat value/symbol and no other." That seems kind of wordy and unnecessary. A modification to a wing speed-symbol should be pretty obvious to not apply to a boot or dolphin symbol - other than the fact that it's new and didn't exist when Shellhead was created, why would the Indom symbol have any different meaning?
