how many games till your first win?

Also, what is your average win? 1 in 10? 1 in 7?

If I remember correctly, it took a really long time for my first win... like 30 games or so, I think. And even then it was tainted 'cause I was a replacement. Then my next win was Doctor Who, which was tainted because it was only because of serious lack of Town participation. Then my third win was another replacement (FND). My first actual win wasn't until Animated X-Mas... which is like a year after I started playing. Truth is, I'm not very good at winning these things, but they're fun to play.

I've had a good run lately, though, which has bumped my percentage up a little bit, I'm hovering around 15% of games played won...

I won my 4th game. But I don't really count it (DBZ Mafia) because the duel mafias just ate each other.

I won my 8th game, which I really, really count. Chocolate Mafia is still my best performance in a game ever. It's fun when you're the lone SK against 3 townies (who all fully trust you) and you can convince them to vote off the Jailkeeper which ensures your win :)

I played at least a dozen (if not a few more) mafia games before I got my first win. Since then I've won like four more but I'd say my winning average is only around 15% lol.

I have what seems to be an average win percentage. It took about 20 games for my first win (ABF's definitive Marvel game) Which dosen't really count because no one really knew what was going on. My first real win came not long after that with Mal's OoTS 2 game. I still think my favorite win has to be Darq's If Chin's could Kill (Bruce Campel) game. Sk poisoner that was never even really brought up in general conversation.

It seemed like forever. But I had 13 games under my belt before I pulled out a win as Doctor Doom in tb47's Fantastic Four game.

It was about 7-8 games (depending on if you count a few experimental ones) before I got a win, though it was a win I was proud of - outted as "Evil" on Day 2 (when I got recruited away from my mason group) and having a power that was designed to have me die (Martyr - I eventually used it to "extort" a necessary lynch vote) - so I can't complain too much.

My wins are relatively low-percentage; think the only one I've had in the last few months has been CYOMC1.

I wanna say it was my 4th, after Peers' original and sequel and after I came thiiiiiiiis close to winning Sstralk's Wild West mafia.

I don't recall how many. It was under 5 I think. The first CYOC game. I was Cleric John Preston from the movie Equilibrium. I was a SK. Not only was I an SK, but a neutered SK. The first kill attempt that I made, I only had a 25% chance of making it. 50% the next night. 75% after that. You would think that at 100% I would get some cool bonus power, right? Nope. Just became a standard SK.

And I won.

I have no idea how.

Depends on what you call a win, really. If we go by the standard definition of a victory....I lose an awful lot. I think it took 7-8 games before I won a game. And that was lucky, because I most certainly do not win even 1/8th of the time.

Now, for me, winning is feeling like I had enough impact on the game, that I was able to help my team achieve victory. In which case, I feel that I win an awful lot.

Won my first go 'round in Deadwood as a Neutral Survivor. Lost on the last day as Spiderman in Carlos' 100 Favorite Movie mafia. Been playin for 9/10 Months and I've got 9 wins.

My win % went down drastically once I hit my 6th win and I started getting killed and/or copped and lynch Night 1/Day 2.

I tied my first game with JacinB. In fact it was the first mafia game played on the realms. After that, it is a blur. I can tell you that I went many many games without a win. I even managed to somehow lose Star Wars mafia as a Korriban Zombie after recruiting the vig, the cop and the RB'er in the first 3 nights.

The worst part was, I personally put that as one of the best games I've ever played.

I was completely a non-caring Neutral too, completely played it well.

finally, my first win after 17 games in Fables. maybe it was too easy with only two mafia members - one being offed n1 by the vig and 2nd being lynched d2 - but i'll take it. :)

been mulling that over a bit, i don't think it really counts. i mean the whole town won. mafia and sk took each other out. :confused: kinda funny but, eh, don't think i can really count that. no wins since. :( felt close a couple of times but no. :cry:

It can be rough. I know my first win took a fair amount of time to get. I don't win that frequently, but I have a fair share of them.

Really, I like playing with fun roles. Some of my favorite roles are ones that I didn't actually win with, but just enjoyed playing.
