Because I'm a disrespectful guy.

I'm thinking of a fictional character. You've got 20 Q's.

Heroclix questions are allowed.

Might as well get it out of the way. Is it a Heroclix figure?

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. People have their own definitions for this, so...I'll decline answering until someone wants to clarify it.

I'm sure he's asking if it's a literary character such as The Stainless Steel Rat for example.

Yeah, see, I'm still in the dark.

My own personal definition of literature is "Anything that's written". And my own personal definition of prose fiction is "Anything that's written fiction".

But I know plenty of people that do not see it that way at all.

So it's a male, human, sci-fi character, has been translated from a book to another medium.

Has the character been featured in a film?

If so, did the film featuring the character come out in the past ten years?

Ahhh, the dangerous black and white yes/no answers for 20 questions.

Is the fictional character from the movies? THE ANSWER WAS NO

Is he a comic book character? THE ANSWER WAS NO

So do we guess that "no he is not FROM the movies" means he did not originate as a movie character (for example, Luke Skywalker originated as a movie character, but then later appeared in comics and books based on the movie)? Or do we guess that he was NEVER in a movie (for example, Elric of Melnibone has never been in a movie (yet), but has appeared in comics)?

Do we guess that "no, he is not a comic book character" means that he has NEVER been in a comic, or that he did not originate in comics (but may have appeared in comics after he was introduced)?

For both of those questions, I was assuming that "no" meant he has never appeared in a movie, and he has never appeared in a comic book. Upon further review, I see that they questions (and answers) can be interpreted in different ways.

Is he the warrior from Reef Encounter's rock opera "Ilbasso Kiyave" who exists in the year three-thousand something, a time beyond a time of recorded history?

This isn't a real question.
Reef Encounter is a band my buddy plays guitar in. Find them on Myspace!

Foundation is probably my favorite Sci-Fi book of all time. And, barring that, my favorite Sci-Fi series of all time. Long series though, if you do the whole Robots/Empire/Foundation tie-in. Asimov's awesome.

I love the original Foundation Trilogy and the original Robot stories, but I have to admit I didn't care for the late novels that tied all the series together. I liked the IDEA of linking them up, but the later novels were too long and a little dull.

I like the late novels a lot. But I hate Empire.

The newer sequels to the end of the Foundation Trilogy are pretty good, though.

Quoted for similar viewpoint. And instead of writing my own viewpoint, I will simply use the lazy "quote" button and include a sentence fragment to convey my beliefs.

For those of you that liked the Robots series: http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2009/6/12/

WARNING: LANGUAGE

They're showing 3 different comics right now, this being one of them, and they're having the PA users vote for which one they want the most. Considering the uncanny likeness to the Daneel Ovilaw and Elijah Bailey characters, I'm of course going to vote for Automata. And it looks like most others are craving it as well.

It is. They've said so repeatedly already.

I wish Tycho wouldn't be so lazy about getting his bit in there. Gabe spends hours on each of his drawings, and he's never late. And he has to wait for Tycho before he can make his own post.

When I first started reading PA, I recall that Tycho's posts were there hours before the comic. Now it seems the comic is on a solid schedule, but the posts are starting to come later and later.

In some of their podcasts, Gabe has pointed out that if the two were to ever split, Gabe would be able to solo quite easily, whereas Tycho would not.
I like Tycho, but sometimes he puts adjectives and adverbs in there just because they exist in the dictionary, and I get sick of waiting for his posts.
