Admittedly, my first guess was going to be the Overmind. But Zergling seemed to be funnier to tack onto the South Korean bit. Of course, there are plenty of other less ambiguously gendered characters in the game.

No, it is not Tassadar.
It was Fenix. Fenix doesn't wield a sword, he uses psi blades on his forearms. It was one of those questions where I had to answer it with a black-and-white answer, when it deserved more than that. If I had said, "Yes", we would have been talking about Diablo II and Oblivion for the rest of the game.
BTW, I felt the South Korea hint was a bit much. Hell, their most popular TV show is where they just watch people play Starcraft.
I was waiting for the, "Is he dead?" question, so I could be all like, "Yup. Twice over."

He was turned into a Dragoon after he died, which is a Cyborg. Think Robocop, but with 4 legs and a really really big energy gun.
The question was whether he was a robot/android/machine, which he was not. Again, had I said he was, I think you would have been more apt to count Fenix out of the parameters, rather than count him in.

Apparently, in at least one of the cutscenes from Starcraft 2, the Dragoons are gigantic compared to humans and your standard Protoss soldier.

Well, okay, if we really want to talk about how you all lost...
The 10 questions spent to discover which medium the character was from, really didn't help. You want to ask questions that generally split the playing field every time, and there were too many questions that didn't take a bite out of it at all.

They were in the original Starcraft as well, but only in cutscenes. I think they wanted them to be the tanks of the Protoss initially, but when they needed to have a standard ranged unit, they relegated it to that instead. The Reavers were never cool, though. Reavers were resource hogs that couldn't handle anything on different elevations, were slow to fire, and slow to move. I'd take an attack force of 24-36 Dragoons and 12 Zealots any day over a group of Reavers.
Have you seen the gigantic walker that the Protoss get in Starcraft 2? I forget what it's called, but it makes their buildings look tiny.

The Reaver we were never impressed with. However, if you are being a cheating bastard, very little is quite as satisfying as whipping up a group of twelve fully stocked and upgraded Carriers, and unleashing Death from Above on all your enemies!

Okay, try this....
In a game of Big Game Hunters with my floormates (this was like 6 years ago), I took the Protoss, and MCed one of my opponent's SCV's when he wasn't looking. I then just bunkered down, and didn't let them know I was building a Terran base. As they were all killing each other, I came out of nowhere with a fleet of 16 Carriers, 12 Battlecruisers, 5 Arbiters, 6 observers (to keep my boys out of trouble), and a couple Dark Archons in a Dropship that just stayed cloaked in the fleet and integrated a couple of the enemy BCs or Carriers every once in a while.
Needless to say, after that game, I was never able to have a moment's peace again in-game. I would constantly get hit from all sides, just to ensure I never did something like that again.

Yes. Furthermore, there are rumors that Duke Nukem Forever was just a ruse so that Epic could get their hands on space-age 3D engines without having to waste dev time on them.
Of course, if Epic had space-age 3D engines that didn't have significant physics issues, it'd be a little more believable.
There's yet another rumor that Take-Two may still produce DNF, since they own the rights now.
And some of the comments from 3DR employees have been that upper management never knew what they wanted, and would continually scrap things from the ground up just because they let them be for a couple days.

Yeah, it was pretty awesome.
The Carrier/Arbiter/Observer fleet I do pretty often, though. There's nothing more horrifying than seeing 96 Interceptors sprout out of a couple of Arbiters and just rain death on everything you own. Then disappear completely.
The problem with Carriers? Scourge. They do a number on Carriers. Battlecruisers just zap them all before they get near them. Carriers can't react fast enough, so I have to constantly give them Scout and Corsair escort, which is a pain in the ###.
Of course, if you do it right, it's the last pain in the ### you'll have to endure that game.
