Hey guys, I have several friends who enjoy playing the game, but since the game has died, there are fewer and fewer places to play. Anyone who knows anywhere in Florida to play in tournaments or events, or even just local game nights, post here. Thanks. :grin:

Florida's a big state. :) Where are you? Off-hand, I know the scene in Tampa and Melbourne is still going pretty well. I assume Orlando is probably still going as well.

I'm in central Florida and Tampa, Lakeland and Orlando all have active Clix games.

south south Florida is doomed, the Latins are taking everything making comic stores, americans and Heroclix go more to the North to be safe!

To find a place to play Heroclix, it take you at least 70 minutes traveling in car from where I'm in Miami to go to any civilized Place with clixs. :(

So drive your butt to Orlando. You've been there before and I've been running a few games on Thursday - to not interfere with your "Poker Night".

I used to know a Judge who ran tourneys in Tampa, His name was Robert. Ring any bells? Where in Tampa are these game houses?

Psycho69 on the realms.
He is running games everyweek and a big tourney every other sunday for Chase figs ALL SUMMER LONG. a few of the guys drive out from ST Pete too maybe you could car pool once you meet.

Like Daky said; Lakeland is still going strong, and here's a plug for the venue: Coliseum of Comics on Main St. Downtown: REPRESENT!!

Also venue in Tampa West side is Heroe's Haven on Dale Mabry and Bearrs.

Psycho69 also has at least one venue that he judges at in Pinellas Park, but I've never made it out there. Hopefully he'll jump on and fill in some gaps. Wake up, Rob!

anyway, come on out, we love to have as many as possible! Keepin' the clix alive in Florida,

hey guys,

and how did you know i was sleeping... stalker much lol. about the games. as was stated before, the venue name is heroes haven. it used to be wonder water 5. it is on the corner os dale mabry hwy., and bearss ave., next to the pizza place and the office depot. the phone number is: (813) 269-8859. this is actually the only venue i judge at anymore. ther tourneys are on friday nights @ 7pm. tonights is 400 pts. "0" printed range. any other info you need, please feel free to contact me. i am usually here at least once a day.

Anywho, checked out the Venue tonight. Heroes Haven in Tampa is a great place to play and buy heroclix. Highly recommend it to any players in the area. Known as "Wonder Waters 5" on Wizkids if you look for scheduled tournaments.

yeah, we in lakeland are pretty lucky. we have two local venues to play on saturdays. hobbytown and coliseum of comics, theyre pretty fun to play, and if your driving pretty far you get two tournaments instead of one. but come on out, its always fun to play new people, see different strategies and trade.

No guys, best place to play in South Florida is right here in Fort Lauderdale. Crossroad Comics in Lauderhill on University Dr between Oakland Park and Commercial. Wednesdays is a fun game starting at 6:30 and going till 9. A few friends and I play but, are stuck in north florida, Lake city to be exact. We would really like to go to a tournament or something if anyone knows near us thanks.

Player from the Treasure Coast here (Port St. Lucie, for specifics.) We don't really have a "for fun" group, but we have a small dedicated tourney group that gets together on Sundays to play for prizes. We meet at a place called "Collector's Comics," if anyone's interested.
