The Doctor is in!

Officially yesterday, I have finished buying my last booster pack for CT. Now it is time to save up some cash for X-plosion. Howerver, that last pack produced for me a V. Dr. Doom. Since I usually play 300pt games with my friend, does anyone have a suggestion on a good team to play him with? Any strategies? I thought of using a couple of Doombots, Spiral, and R. Robin. I chose R. Robin, because, the Minions of Doom could use his team ablitity to hide.

I'll probably get booed off the board for this suggestion but I like to pair vet Doom up with a 100pt Sentinal.
Let sentinal carry doom around using running shot, and let Doom brush off damage to Sentinals still deep dial.
it's not always a wiining combo but tends to confuse opponents.

Here's the 300-Marvel only (clobberin time only) team thaat I play with that I call 'OctoDoom'

V-Dr. Doom 198
V-Dr. Octopus 66
V-SHIELD Sniper 18
V-AIM Medic 17

Dr. Doom taxies SHIELD Sniper. Doom is your main hitter. Transfer most damage to the SHIELD when hit. Your main purpose is to do Running Shots at 6 damage (base 3 +1 for Doom Perplex, +1 for Octopus Perplex, +1 for SHIELD).

If you have the chance and feel it's better.. then increase Doom's Attack value by 2 and do an Energy Explosion with SHIELD enhancement. best you can get in this situation is 4 damage across the board.
