To the best of my knowledge, there is no venue in Springfield, Mo that is still running clix events.

If I am wrong, please disabuse me! I would love to resume playing more than just ad hoc games!

If I am right, I would like to start organizing play once more in anticipation of a NECA Approved Play program. I was a judge briefly, before life got in the way of gaming, and would be willing to judge again. If there's a more experienced judge who'd rather do the honors, that'd be cool too.

So, to the point of this post, are there any other users here who would like to band with me in this endeavor? I have a pretty good rapport with MetaGames, Dragon's Lair; at least to my mind I do :nervous:. So, where and when works best?

Alright, to those of you NOT in Springfield, Mo what would you recommend I do to drum up support, since it's starting to look like there aren't many other active clixers left in my area.

Do you have a local venue who'd be on board with hosting games? Post signs there. Then hit up your local craigslist with a running ad. Run a demo on a Saturday afternoon (or Wednesday night, when people are picking up their books) and swag folks with some free nons. If you can recruit a couple of other players to serve as a base, the community will grow pretty organically.

Alright, if you're interested in playing in Springfield, Mo there are games every Sunday at Metagames starting at about 4pm. I'll be starting some at Dragon's Lair a bit later.
