1000 point Thor's Chariot

We are playing a four player-1000 point - no cardboard game this weekend and im gonna use my spanking new Thor's Chariot. Im terrifified of outwit in this game and looking for advice on my supporting cast.Any suggestions???Fight fire with fire and use cheap outwitters???

Some figures like Merlyn & CR Breen Arrow (good range & Stealth) can create a wall around Thor, and they can take advantage of his Enhancement as well.

I'd definitely want to team him up with Avengers SR Scarlet Witch for that prob and barrier. Other than that a lot of people have said Rip Hunter, to protect is normal powers from outwit. Have also heard Winter Soldier, for the stealthy RCE + enhancement for 6dmg. I'd also toss COG Silver Surfer in for a MAJOR HSS harassment piece to take some heat off the Chariot.

dont think i'll run him with the Worlds Finest,that would be kinda fun though.I wish duo's could use their powers on duo attacks.I like the stealthy shooter idea and will probably use winter soldier for sure.

Other than that a lot of people have said Rip Hunter, to protect his normal powers from outwit.

That's a problem, since the power that needs protecting most is his defense special power. I rather prefer a cheap Outwitter (or two) with Outsmart.

Fixed for you. Although that would overpower duos for their cost, IMO.

This could be a pretty potent pair of pieces, actually. Enhancement boosts WF's damage to 5, enabling them to Outwit then duo-blast -- from Stealth yet through Stealth -- for a solid 9 clicks. And then Thoriot cleans up with a followup transporter attack. Rinse, repeat.

Yeah, if you aren't going to field the Thoriot+WF, you probably better plan on facing it. It's too easy of 1000 pts not to come up with.

Well, here's a quick recap of the game.I played my Chariot with Winter Soldier,oots Bats,Scarlet Witch SR,Question(AA),Accomplished Perfect P and Gamora.This was a four player game in the Baxter building.The other fellow playing a chariot charged in vs a mainly superman family army and went to take out the only outwitter on that team Batman.On Thor's Chariot's first attack roll ever in our game - he botches!!! Much laughter ensues! Next turn - his defensive power is outwitted and a supes with a heavy nails him!! Soon after he dies.
I engage the other army- lots of ouwit(Darkseid,Mystic Doom,Thanos) but no move and attack powers!! I keep out of harms way and end up winning without much of a problem.I love Chariots enhancment - even Scarlet Witch was nasty!!
Overall pretty fun to play- next time ill team him up with WF!
