I've been using WorldWorks Games (http://www.worldworksgames.com)' 3D terrain for my HeroClix games for about 6 months now. It adds... well, there's no other way to say it... "a new dimension" to the game. And, it's just plain fun to play on. (And, to build.)

Those of you who have been interested in getting into making 3D terrain for your 'Clix games might want to check out the following: WorldWorks Games is having a 20% Off Sale on all of their catalog merchandise.

This includes:

Fantasy
Horror
Modern
Sci-Fi
Game Aids and
User Kitbash Files

The prices are not reflected on the individual items' pages.
(Actually, that's not entirely true: You can find the discounted price in the title bar of each page.)

They've unveiled their new building system: TerrainLinx

I know... I know... that picture doesn't really tell you what TerrainLinx is or what makes it different or why you should care. But, in the words of my old Calculus teacher: "I know a trick!" And that trick is: For more on how TerrainLinx looks and works, check out this pre-release video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEsqxLrlNA0).

Head over to the WWG site and check out the goodness!

WWG has released a "mostly complete" version of the new TerrainLinx instructions (pdf in .zip file (http://www.worldworksgames.com/store/products/soh/tlx_instructions.zip)), if anyone is interested in checking them out.

Yes, these maps are done in 1" (Star Wars, etc) and 1.5" ('Clix, MageKnight) grids. The older system of WWG maps - anything done before 01 Sept 2009 - are also available in gridless formats.

Check 'em out... and take advantage of the 20% off sale (ends today), if you get a chance. If you're curious to see what some of the pieces look like when assembled, I use the Modern (http://www.worldworksgames.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=7) sets ("Urban Mayhem") in my builds; you can see them here (http://tinyurl.com/kpuof9).

You should post some pics of the things you've made with some clix on them, to give us a sense of how everything looks.

It was included at the end of my previous post, but for faster/easier access: Go here (http://tinyurl.com/kpuof9).

The pictures in these folders represent either a setup I've done or an actual game that has been played on the WWG maps.
