Hey I just moved to Fullerton, CA and I'm looking for local venues and players. I'm a very avid player and former envoy coming from the Seattle/Tacoma area. Spread the word. I'm also willing to judge at local venues in light of the rebirth of clix.

I've been in touch with the proprietor of the Realm in Brea and he's cool with me judging. If you know any other interested players put the word out.

I like AllWays Gaming in Chatsworth - we're mostly theme players (real theme teams get fellowship bonuses) but no one sneezes at hodge-podge guys that much. 12:30 PM almost every Saturday (not next week, though). Today I almost won with a ridiculous circus-based team just because I wanted to play Ringmaster. (I surrounded him with ex-circus strongman Dum Dum Dugan, ex-carnie Hawkeye, acrobat Puck, Stilt-Man, lion-tamer Kraven).
I'm not exactly sure where Fullerton is, though, so I wouldn't know how bad the drive is.
I run a venue in Simi Valley. We play every Sunday.. No tournaments just friendly get together, it's quite fantastic.

Chatsworth is about an hour away from me, Simi Valley even moreso. I might make it out to Chatsworth sometime, mainly because I've been following tb's efforts for bi-beast in clix for years, and I'd like to match wits against 2 brains.... or is it one bi-brain?

Something to note about SoCal, especially the LA area - everybody is about an hour away from everything. ;) I drive up to Chatsworth from Culver City, and that usually takes me over half an hour of expressway driving. I find it generally worth the drive. And we occasionally have folks like Bubblehead and jackstar7 drop by, too, as they did yesterday.

Count me in for next game, then. Where can I find the scenario for the week?

Cool! The next game isn't for two weeks (there's a wedding next week that the judge and a couple of our regulars will be attending). But PM me your email addy and I'll give it to the judge. He maintains an email list and sends out the scenario the week of.

Any people play in long beach?

Hey ninja, Long Beach is a stone's throw away. As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm considering taking up judge duties at the Realm in Brea, CA. It's about 15 minutes from Long Beach and I'd like to have you at the venue. PM me for more info.

Oh, Fullerton's near Long Beach, huh?
Yeah, driving to Chatsworth's gonna be a long haul.

Fullerton is south of the LA area. Mileage is roughly the same as going to Disneyland, but Fullerton is due north of the park. I know, I lived there for years. My ex-wife still lives there, which is why I rarely spend any time there.

Hey WildWeasel,
I was wondering if you are going to ever return that comic book, DC 1 Million, I let you borrow. This is John back in Tacoma, Washington. I will message you my address privately and you can mail it back. Thank you.

It's been nearly a year and I never got my comic book, "DC-1 Million" back from Wild Weasel..aka John McNabb.:(
He said he was going to return it. I gave him my address. He said he would mail it.
Months later. Nothing.
It isn't a particularly valuable comic, but it is my property.
This is a warning to others on this site and those who are in proximity to him, NEVER loan anything to this guy.
