gotta go for now realms,it's been swell but as a parting idea.how's a madcap or mister immortal fig strike you guys.personally i think madcap was pretty funny and would make an interesting figure.the great lakes avengers were borderline.but having a character that could still die but eventually come back to life would be neato...or just massively moronic?let me know whatcha think.later aaron

The coming back to life thing would be difficult. Maybe have one slot of KO and fill out the rest of the dial that would be KO with all 0 stats and regeneration? Unfortunately he could still make CC attacks (and ranged if he had a range value) at 0 damage that could score a critical hit for 1 (and possibly more for knockback!). Not quite correct. But you could spend an action to try to regen. It should also probably have a special note that if the figure is on a click of all zeros at the end of the game it counts as a KO... which is why we'd never see the figure. Special rules for single figures seems very unlikely. Even Sinestro ended up being a "big fig" like the Sentinel instead of having his own special rules.

true that... but my mind can't help but to wander in the wonder of heroclick land.la la la la la.wweeeee!madcap and his bubble gun, making people crRAAAZzy.that would rock, but alas i agree special rules for certain charaters has aboot a snowballs chance between mephisto's legs of surviving into game.oh well it was jus an idea.thanks

I was looking for a thread to dig up just for the hell of it. Although I find it very interesting what people thought about what we actually have now.
looks like somebody should have kept asking for Madcap.

Hey, in 2003 we didn't have individual rules for individual figures. And we had to click uphill both ways. In the snow. ;)
I saw this thread on the front page and looked in it. Imagine my surprise when i saw that I had responded to it nearly seven years ago.
(I had forgotten about it. Time'll do that to you.)

He's dead, laying there. It's not him attacking, he's underfoot and the opponents figure trips on him and stumbles to another square...

Mr. Immortal would actually be very easy to pull off with a special power.
If Mr. Immortal is KOed roll a six sided die. On a roll of 1-3 Mr. Immortal fails to come back to life and stays KOed in his square as blocking terrain for other players (you may roll again next turn as one of your actions). If the roll is 4-6 Mr. Immortal is clicked back to full life and is placed in the square he was KOed. Oppoenent players always gain KO points each time this figure is KOed.
I know it's a little long, but I'm sure it can be shortened.

sounds good to me.
the only problem u may incurr is that while he is on his KO clicks he can be destroyed like blocking terrain and thus leave rubble.
which may not sound all bad, but when u throw in that some character destroy blocking terrain for free...
just sayin.

We can change the wording to his KOed figure while on the board shall have the same effects as blocking terrain.
