its a simple fact that WK is saving certain figs for future sets, like they saved iornman for xplosion and such. what other characters with large fanbases have they saved?
Silver Surfer
uhmm.. who else?

Surfer
Ghost Rider
Punisher
Venom
I think they're the big 4, who most people will be after (As soon as we get our grubby mitts on Iron Man).
Slightly less popular characters that a lot of fans will be after...
Sub-Mariner
Iceman
Goliath
Deadpool (Probably wont happen but a lot of people want him)
Inhumans
Spidey bad-guys, Hydro-Man, Mysterio The Lizard... stuff like that.
Iceman will be in X-plosion.
I would guess we'll get an Agent X instead of Deadpool.

Possibly Venom, Carnage.. To name a few.
I just hope the main characters don't get overboard in the future. What I mean is like the action figures.
Deep Dive Batman (aquatic!)
Infrared Batman (Superman team)
Ice Blast Batman (barrier!)
Sonic Charge Batman (Pulse Wave)
Bruce Wayne Batman (Nothing Special As He Isn't Prepared)
Turbojet Batman (Flight)
Kevlar Armor Batman (Impervious)
Rodeo Clown Batman (Perplex)
ER Nurse Batman (Support)
Breast Implant Batman (Enhancement)
Etc. Etc. Etc.

Am I the only one who thinks that Ghost Rider should be on a double base with his cycle (ala Mage Knight)? Who other than Johnny Blaze could go on a double base? You could easily force figures into that situation (Captain America on that Hover thingie along with any other non-flying Avenger) but who really rates a double base? I should have read more DC in my days, huh?

The trouble is, the larger base figures from Mage Knight aren't very good. There are more hindering rules with them than benefits.. That's why there aren't any more in the latest expansions. Although it would still be very cool to have Ghost Rider on a bike. ;)

I'd put Fin Fang Foom on a double base...rather than as a large figure. And you could do some of Apocolypse's horsemen.

They wouldn't need a double base as they would likely have him doing a Wheelie w/ the front tire high in the air. Would look pretty cool actually.

Good call on the Horsemen! And with Apocolypse as yet to show up that could be a possibility. They'd have to be unique though (i don't think they were around enough to have 3 versions of them - I did stop buying -not reading- by 95 so I could be wrong on that). I think that them being uniques would be the only thing to make them not happen. I forgot about them though thanks for the reminder. The wheelie thing could work but I'd be afraid about scale (it'd have to be a pretty tall fig - taller that Mr. Fantastic).

Now that you mention it, here's a thought. An Apocolypse (maybe Age of) release to include the Big A (maybe a big fig right afterwards), The Horsemen, Archangel, Wolverine (I think he was death) and Hulk (as War). We already know we're getting more Wolvies and Hulks, may as well put them to good use. This set could include Mr. Sinister who I believe was created by Apocolypse.
Just a thought
