Okay boys and girls, here we have 64 Classic Duets, from some of our Favorite Musical Acts, which will be pitted against one another, Match by Match, Round by Round, weeding them all out until they get to the FINAL MATCH, which will have our two favorite Duets face against one another to see which one emerges as Grand Champion of our latest Rock Wars!

As always, this TOC should be voted using a very simple criteria, which song do YOU like more, which do YOU feel you would rather listen to, and which would YOU say is ultimately more deserving to move on. Easy. :)

Pretty basic really. Songs are matched up, you all vote on the one you like more, the winner goes to the Next Round, and we do this over and over again until the Rounds are Over. I do ask that you all give objective opinions and votes here, listening to All songs and arguments here within this TOC with an open mind, beginning to end, and base your honest votes from that.

So without further adieu, why dont we get started with the Next of Many matches to come, in HCRs latest Rock Wars, Favorite Duet!

I now give you:

SOMEWHERE OUT THERE
(Linda Ronstadt / James Ingram) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wcuZN5PhpQ)

vs.

APARTMENT SONG
(Tom Petty / Stevie Nicks) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6HHzWyFBrQ)

So what say you all. Which of these songs will move onto the Next Round, and which will re-unite just so they can break up again?

Two very different flavors, but both good. I could see my vote going differently on a different day in a different mood, but tonight the sweet Somewhere Out There is my favorite.

Though Linda Ronstadt always sounds good, "Somewhere Out There is far too saccharin for my taste.

"The Apartment Song" is right up my alley, I like it better then "Stop Dragging My Heart around".

I was kind of hoping more from Nicks and Petty, cause I really like both of the, but I was disappointed with their song here. I really enjoyed Somewhere Out There, it was very sweet, so it definately gets my vote here.

I just can't bring myself to vote for the Fievel song. So I'm going to pretend that Stevie was singing "Edge of Seventeen" and vote accordingly. "Apartment Song" to advance.
