This is soooo basic, but here it is. If a figure without L/C jumps off the building voluntarily do they take 1 click or 2?
If a figure hovering on a roof is hit for knockback (and the knockback moves them off the roof) do they fall? Or are they still hovering?
Also, if a tree falls, um, never mind. Just tell me about falling.

1. 0 damage.
2. Again, 0 damage.

So, scowling one, what you're saying is that no one showed up at 3 tourneys, one person showed up at 3 other tourneys and two other people showed up at two more tourneys? Lol, kidding - i just want to see the scowl. :)

errr....as far as I know without leap/climb you cannot "voluntarily" leap off a building. You have to use the stairs. Only fliers and people with leap/climb can go off (or on) to buildings without using the stairs.

I have a feeling scowling read it (as I did the first time) as "with L/C." Jackalope is correct---a normal figure cannot voluntarily jump off the roof. They must have flight, L/C or Phasing if they wish to change elevations without using either the stairs or ladders.

Yeah, I read it as "with L/C".
I've been doing that a bunch lately.
(And, FWIW, none of those tourneys had less than 6 players, and two of my wins were in a field of 12.)

No heroic leaping from buildings?? yeepers, i've been picturing them as 1 story buildings. but that would imply the buildings were tall, which would give height advantage to snipers. oh well...
(btw, scowling one, design technology has improved a lot since plotinus's poutings, um, writings. it seems possible to design the throne along the lines of a bed of nails. not comfortable, but certainly not lethal.)

I would think that if a non flier or non Leap/Climb was knockbacked off a roof that they would take one click of knockback damage just like if they hit a wall. Fliers and Leap/Climbers would not take damage because they can ignore changes in elevation. As for hovering, you can hover and still change elevations with no cost movement. I would think nothing would happen to fliers that are knocked off.
Voluntarily jumping off Elevated terrain just isn't permitted.
Now, being knocked back off Elevated terrain will give 2 clicks of damage to figures without Flight.
Flying figures (Hovering or Soaring) would not take this damage from being knocked off of a building (elevated terrain).

What would the two clicks of damage from being knocked off elevated terrain be? Would defense powers work on them?
The 2 clicks of damage for being knocked off of a building (Elevated terrain) is essentially knockback damage and is treated as such. It would follow all the rules that normal knockback follows.
