View Full Version : Buy Newbie wants KC Green Lantern

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the game, really new around HCRealms, and a total rookie at trading. I've read the rules and FAQs and everything, and I thought I should take a stab at this.

I'm looking for a KC Green Lantern figure. I don't have a whole lot to trade for him, so I figured I'd post here and see if anyone had one they wanted to sell. The only one for sale I've found anywhere else online is $65 on eBay, and that's out of my league. I want to play him in the game, not just have him sit on a shelf in plastic, so if he's not in perfect shape, doesn't have his card, whatever, that's okay. I'll take what I can get.

The main reason I want him, other than the fact that the JSA are my favorite superheroes (and he's quite possibly the most beautiful click I've ever seen), is that my LCS owner/friend and I want to play a JSA vs. Sinestro Corps game at 2814 points. For the sheer cosmic fun of it. I can use my Vet JSA GL, but for this game, I would love to be able to pull out the KC version.

If there's anything in my have list that you want, let me know, but I don't have a whole lot of great stuff, so the odds of that are pretty slim, and I know it's going to come down to $$.

Hopefully I'm not breaking any ettiquette or rules with this post, if I am, I apologize. I'm a total newbie, and feel way out of my depth.

Welcome to the forums! And no, you aren't breaking protocol or rules. Just an FYI... KC GL doesn't come with a card. Character cards were introduced in Avengers so any set before that didn't have them.

Unfortunately I don't have a GL for you. The only one I have is my Alex Ross autographed one and I'm not giving him up! :p

Friggin sweet! One of our venues has him come every year. It's a comic shop/toy store/game store and the owner draws comics and is friends with him I guess. I'm totally stealing that idea! I'll get a gold pen though so it's not exact same haha.

I'd recommend posting a trade thread in the Trading Forum. Post what your haves are, including that you might toss in some $$ for the KC GL. You might get more responses.
