300 pt. Gotham City

Hey all,

I am making my first attempt at a theme team and wanted to see how it is. I'm thinking it will go well on any map with a Deep Shadows bfc, but I've just started playing clix competitively and was wondering if there was something that I completely missed.

Looks like an OK team. Not great, but definitely good enough.

Extra damage.
Flashbang is a good feat on JL Batman.
Put yer light objects 6 or less squares away from hindering for JL-BM to use for hindering OOTS.

Good first attempt! Just a few suggestions. I wouldn't put Stunning Blow on Nightwing. His damage is only 2 and he only keeps Incap for 1 click. My suggestion would be to ditch Stunning Blow and add on Takedown. Its only 6 points, and with Nightwing's ridiculously high defense, its a good bet that he'll be able to add that extra token onto the attacker. Also, Hitman, while a great piece, doesn't really seem to blend with that team. I have 2 slightly alternate builds that I can suggest.

Total is 299. With Batman's plethora of keywords, he can easily have a 13 attack with Inside Information. And the Rare Robin from Arkham adds some Perplex to your team, as well as Smoke Cloud with free Incap.

Batman Beyond
Gotham City Detective

Total is 299. You have 2 close combat pieces here in Batman Beyond and Batgirl. JL Batman can pop around shooting with double Enhanced damage from Captain Gordon and Gotham Detective (and has a potential +1 attack from the PD TA). And when anyone gets trapped or surrounded, Captain Gordon can Summon the Bat to get them out.

AA Riddler
AA Anarky
AA Clown Prince of Crime
CR Robin (both of them)
and CR Batwoman

and I only have a few other feats

That's pretty funny, only since AA Robin is one of my favorite pieces. Along with Anarky & CPoC.

Anarky is great when using you're PC because you can remove the token from either a Bystander or figure your opponent is trying to push. Or from a pushed opponent that has Shellhead. Even removing tokens from an opposing figure you want to MC. Many MC figures now have a caveat in their SP that depends on tokens.

CPoC will basically give you four figures. His only downfall is the randomness of which dial you get to use.

well assuming it's restricted means no man of steel so no real tent pole to build around so you are better off with finesse attackers like oots batman and arkham robin. next add arkham question for some outwit/perplex. finish with batman beyond for some super strength/charge. now have 4 figs for theme and all have a support power outwit/perplex in some form. inside info on batman is a good call for all the keywords he's got. stunning blow on robin for his tear gas attack. add alfred from alpha for a little healing later. a protected on jl batman for some added protection from any big hitters and a lunge for robin.

Nice ideas, but he already said he didn't have Robin from Arkham.

And not every is lucky enough to have pulled an Alfred Pennyworth, like you did ;)

I'd definitely second the Question. She's ridiculously good. And the Riddler's negative Perplex ability is great. Both have the keyword, so you should be set.

At most. At 300 points, often your opponent will be able to KO the rest of your team before Joker's been sent to the Asylum more than once, so you only end up getting two uses out of him.

I actually traded for both of my alfred's(chase and alpha) never did get the card for the alpha one either. another piece that's fun to use is the azrael batman.
