Post Season Starts Today

Very exciting time for a baseball fan. Tigers/Twins game yesterday was awesome!!

I was born and raised in the Bronx so you know I'll be rooting for the Yankees. I hope everyones team does well and make this exciting baseball.

Well, the Yankees made it in, as was largely expected. In was hoping the Angels could have pushed it to a desperate game 7, but I'd still expected the Yankees to take it for the A.L.

Starting Wednesday it'll come down to the Phillies seeing if they can prove to be stronger than the $80+ million salary deficit between them and the Yankees*. ;)

I'll be watching with interest from the Philadelphia suburbs.



* Just to be clear, this is a pre-emptive measure, giving myself a pillow to cry into and a bowl of sour grapes to munch on between tears if the Phillies phail. However it goes, it should be a fun set of games -- hopefully with more than enough tension for fans on both sides.:)
