Dare Devil VS. Hulk productions

Does anyone who is a toy collector think its funny that Hulk has an entire line of merch and products already out and not one thing for Dare Devil is anywhere around?

I say this only because the DD movie is this weekend!!!!

daredevil is supposed to be a darker film, so they don't want to advertise it to a younger audience through toys

While it'll be just as easy to dispute me by saying that we live in darker times, I disagree that it's just the toy company not trying to target kids to a dark movie. There were toys of Batman and Batman Returns, and I consider both of those movies to be pretty dark.

Personally, I think the reason we are seeing Hulk toys all ready is because of the hype behind that movie. It's targeting more than just the comic fans. It was also a ####py show from the 80's. It's almost a garaunteed hit.

As for Daredevil, there's still a chance it bombs (although I don't think it will). It the movie doesn't make it, Toy Biz won't have to worry about wasting money on the toy line.

Ever hear of the Treasure Planet toys after that movie came out? Me either.

But before, I found them everywhere.

You don't get darker than Gotham City, trust me, I've studied enough 'film noir' to know.
