Quoted from the best Leader in cartoon history in my opinion, Optimus Prime. I have a PVC Optimus Prime (the one where his legs, head and arms come off) and I want to glue him on a heroclix dial. Would figure should i remove from a current dial, to match his personality? Leadership would be a must, and also maybe toughness or invulnerablity. I was thinking a V. Captain America, or a R. Juggernaut ( I have extras). I have about 60 extra clix Marvel and DC that I can rip off the dial for this just cause. The fun part, would be as he takes damage, his limbs or head would fall off and anybody with Super Strength could pick it up and use it for 2 damage. Any suggestions would help.

Also, who would you chose as a dial for megatron.

You see, I'd think you'd need to make a custom dial, and put them on a Sentinel or Sinestro base. Remember, Optimus and Megatron are both HUGE, at least Sentinel sized.

But, if you insist on using them as normal sized clix....

Optimus NEEDS Leadership. He also needs to have a ranged attack, and Toughness, if not Invulnerability or Imperviousness. Other than flight and force blast, I'd actually think that a Veteran Superman would be pretty close.

Megatron also must have a ranged attack, super-strength would be good, and again the toughness/invulnerability. Megatron can fly. And while I wouldn't give him Leadership, I might just give him Mastermind. Vet Doom might be fairly close to representing Megatron, except for the acquisition of Outwit, which isn't really Megatron's style.

I must agree with you on your choices. I like the Mastermind Idea, because that is in true Megatron style, to redirect an attack on him on his minions.

I like the superman Idea, but Flying isn't the autobot style, but I'll keep the other attributes that Sups has in mind when finding a perfect dial for prime. Thanks for your reply.

Yeah, but he did fly as Optimus Primal. I like that version of Transformers. (Beast Wars)

Okay, for all those interested (which apparently by the replies isn't many), I've found a dial for prime. I wanted to use a V. Batman, but I had none to spare. So I went with a V. Blastaar. This Dial may be better suited for Megatron, but I don't have him either. Blastaar does have some leadership, and he gets tougher towards the end, which does fit Primes personality in which he get ticked off as he gets hurt more (remember the movie?) So if anyone has any reactions, I'm open to comments.

Blasstar isn't a bad choice - just wish he had a few more slots of Leadership to really be Optimus.

I think he does make a better Optimus than he does a Megatron.

Megatron would have a ton of Mastermind and some other nastyness to him
