World's Easiest repaint

I repainted all the blue areas on Batman black. Makes a world of difference and took about 2 minutes.

You can also really easily make Elektra interesting by doing a simple repaint. No, not like *that*, I just mean that if you cut the spear off the CT figure (lets say the experienced for arguments sake) then you can repaint thus:

Purple hair

Dark blue suit

Stick the tip of the speare on the end of her fist and *abracadabra*, you have a Kwannon/decent looking psylocke. The beauty of it is you don't really have to change the powers, a 2 range RCE is quite good for a psychic knife (repaint the tip pink/purple) and the rest is just like Kwannon. I used one in a proper game a few weeks back, even though I had given her a silver ring and repainted her name too.

Oh, also you might want to paint the bandana on her hewad so it goes over the top half of her face, then paint the eyes over that, ninja-turtle style. You can of course also reposition the limbs as required and if like me you want it to look just right then add/remove some bits of costume so it looks properly like the kwannon getup (i.e. random rings of fabric and less over the shoulders - the band round her waist should also be painted pink).

I've been thinking that since I first saw the fig. It would be a #### sight better than the actual Psylocke we're getting in Xplosion. I'd rather find an MK that can be... modified... into the armor-wearing purple-cloak Betsy, you remember, before she became the Porn-Queen Ninja? I think the Rivvenguard fig might do, with a little rework.

I wish I had a digicam or a scanner and a host site; til I do, just use your imagination. Right now I'm doing my first actual mod, turning Jean Grey into Marvel Girl, complete with V-shaped yellow mask. If I like it, we can use it for actual games, as it really IS the Rookie Jean Grey.

Next I'll turn Vulture into Archangel, should still be fairly simple.

For the adventurous, I suggest turning Rogue into Flying Wonder Woman. I thought, hmmm, you could savage an MK Deepwood Sentinel for spear and shield to put in her fists....

Lastly, if anyone thinks a particular HC or MK could be easily turned into Belasco, I'd like to try. He had a cape/cloak and one arm missing, and I'll hafta check comix, but didn't he wear a skirt/kilt type of thingy?
