no shellhead for one...

i dont like the no SS on his first two clicks of HSS. the incompatibility can solved by a special attack power maybe? that incorperates the two.

other than that love the dial, definately worth the points

Actually on the point generator I Use he comes to 370 points, which is admittedly too much. 315 sounds fair.

Edit: For Comparison though Superman Prime comes in at 35 points under his real cost.

I like the dial. My only concern is a 9 attack on the opening clix, with leadership? I think the rest is fantastic. I believe a minimum of 10 attack for a guy sporting the power of Ion. At least frontloaded. I could see a 9 attack late dial. He stood toe to toe with prime but ran out of gas late. Just throwing this out, do any lanterns start with less than a 10 attack? I think even the squirl starts with a 10 doesn't he? lol!

ok, I'm a little offbase. there are a few from the older sets sporting a 9 attack, and the dang squirl starts with a 9 and gets a 10 mid dial. I still think Ion should be packing a punch on that opening clix, just my opinion though

The reason I gave him a 9 AV and leadership is that, as shown in the comics, he tends to come into the fray thinking he's in charge but seeming to go off half-cocked, if you know what I mean. And then settling down as the fight goes on.

I can see your reasoning now. I would love to see how he would stand up to Prime. My guess is it will depend on the Invincible defense power of prime. Your Yat can take a punch and still bring it for sure! Definately a showdown I'd like to see!
